If Taylor is serious on a fight with Crawford then i think he needs to step up and fight a legit welterweight. someone like garcia, or porter first to test the waters. Stepping straight in with Crawford wouldnt end well for him at this point.

So he has to fight someone that's better than anyone Crawford has fought at the weight to prove he is ready for Crawford.. LOL, @ that logic

It's not a bad fight, and Crawford is so gifted.

What I don't understand is why Bud doesn't say yes, I want to fight the top contenders Ennis and Ortiz jr, but instead he seems content with lesser opposition.

Oh yes here we go.. so that's basically it, a Top Rank done deal. Obviously Bud has to fight on foreign soil if he wants to have a more respected resume. there is enough comp at 147 that Crawford doesn't have to beat a guy coming up from 140 with little defense. Because after he stops him, everyone will say, "he was too small". Taylor has no chance whatsoever at beating crawford. NONE!!!!
