    Akhmedov suffers a flash knockdown when his gloves touched the mat in the fourth. Akhmedov dropped in the twelfth and final round with a right hand, but otherwise outworked Barrios.

      controversy aside (big robbery) wonder how this fight will affect barrios. he really got battered last night,



      Plain and simple - Barrios got the living sht kicked out of him and lost the fight. There were at least 2 rounds that should have been 10-8 for Akhmedov when he was beating Barrios from pillar to post. And then to make things worst, they give Barrios a 10-8 round for a flash knockdown

        That score makes no sense. How do you have a 9-9 round when there was no point deducted? That's the only way that can happen.

            If that round is scored 10-8 Barrios, then the score would be 114-112 for Akhmedov and I think that's what most had it. Barrios won at least three of the first four rounds, if not all four rounds. He had a case for a draw but not a win. If you give Barrios the first four rounds and score the 12th 10-8, then he gets a draw...Score the 12th round only 10-9, then Akhmedov wins by a point.

            Definitely should have been a rematch.

              i have no problem with a draw but that is best case scenario for barrios. it was between an akhmedov win and a draw and the judges all got it wrong but purposefully so as we know how boxing works. thats why its clearly a robbery and thats the only reason barrios is in this fight since thats the only "good" opponent he has ever fought. the funny part is we dont even know if akhmedov is any good. maybe?

                If Barrios can't find a way to win, he can't box. Tank is not going to change the game, short and lazy is not a good plan. Barrios put a 140 pound Russian tank down twice, the better KD was late too. This can get interesting.

                  is that guy good though? he had 6 fights lol. i mean he looked good battering barrios all over the ring for most of the fight but that could say a lot more about barrios than anything else. maybe akhmedov was the next ggg? sure i guess...cept in reality he was a guy with 6 fights against nobodies. i just dont like how some people have barrios in the top 10 now after that robbery win but they dont have the guy who beat him or at least fought him to a draw worst case scenario. really sh-itty how people in boxing watch the robbery then just pretend it didnt happen 5 seconds later

                    I knew I had seen Barrios fight and this is the fight I remember. He scored the knockdown but he was getting his azz handed to him.. I see Tank KOn this guy

                      its hard not to like barrios but he got the 'future ppv opponent gift-card' against akhmedov. theres the business of boxing then theres the boxing of boxing. one of them can rob you, fcuk you up and steal your health and well being the other one you could get outboxed
