  • Is it possible that Arum is actually protecting Crawford?

Have him stay at Top Rank and build his career by fighting mediocre competition with little chance of beating him.

Could that be why Crawford keeps resigning with him?

No doubt. When Crawford inevitably re signs with Arum we know for sure he’s ok with hiding behind his promoter so he doesn’t take any risks.

I guess we could ask the same thing of Gervonta Davis and PBC.

No, I genuinely think that PBC is freezing him out to protect Spence. People keep saying he needs to sign with PBC to get the fight, but we all know if he signs there, they're going to "marinate" by forcing Danny Garcia and Shawn Porter on us first.

It’s possible. But Crawford is enjoying it. He is making millions vs easy wins for him. The smaller Gamboa made Crawford’s legs turn to jelly. He was also hurt, KD or not, by Kavaliouskas.

He is perfectly fine with not fighting Spence too. He talks up his resume and wins as if he is fighting killers. But he’s really not fought anyone with a pulse since Postol 5 years ago.

He is not getting frozen out of anything. Haymon and Arum rarely make fights together. This has been known for decades now. Arum will freeze his own fighters to spite a former fighter. Evidence shows this. DLH left TR. Mayweather left TR. Cotto left TR. And finally, after seeing through all of his shenanigans, Pacquiao left TR. It really isn’t that hard to see. Arum will only make a fight with Haymon when HE feels that he has the superior fighter. Otherwise he likes spiting his former fighters by not giving them a TR opponent.

I mean he publicly rejected DLH-Mayweather, when BOTH DLH and Mayweather wanted the fight in 2006. This was why Floyd bought out his contract.

Mosley also wouldn’t fight Mayweather because he was with GBP and DLH and Arum couldn’t do business.

Literally nobody in the world told Crawford to sign an extension with TR. Why, as a fighter, would you see that all the best fighters of your division are in one promotional company and you go ahead and sign with the rival company? And then you sign an extension with the rival company? Why would you do that? And then he was “frozen” out of fighting PBC fighters? He froze his own damn self out lol.

There’s too much evidence for Crawford not caring to fight the best at 147. I mean you can’t get more evidence than Crawford saying it from his own mouth, that he doesn’t care about fighting Spence and doesn’t care what fans or media think about his opponents.

Then why didn’t Gervonta Davis sign with Top Rank?

Every champion at 130 to 140 is a Top Rank fighter, hold Gervonta Davis and Devin Haney.

The undisputed champion, Josh Taylor, signed with TR while Davis was already fighting under Mayweather/Haymon/PBC/Showtime.

So why didn’t Josh Taylor sign with PBC?
