It's also worth noting that for all of the money Wlad makes, he doesn't produce even decent ratings in the states. HBO could've possibly grown tired of throwing good money at bad ratings - the only Wlad fight they were willing to air this year was against Haye. HBO wasn't interested in Vitali... until Haye.

When that passed, it was either Arreola (Haymon fighter) or bust. Meaning, if Vitali didn't take the fight, Arreola would've most likely landed the/a date or else once again packaged with P-Will.
good points.... also it seems wlad don't wanna fight in the US lately.

It was a pretty good scrap, I was fine with watching it once though. Whatever it will probably be entertaining again, i just hope there are other fights good fights on with it again.

That would actually be a good fight at 140, might not be good for Paulie as Urango has ten times the power of Diaz but hell i'd like to see it. Diaz-Malignaggi II does seem a little pointless as pretty much everyone agrees who won the first fight, but if Paulie can't get a fight against a Bradley, Khan, Urango or Alexander for a title then why not take another fight on HBO.

This fight doesn't belong on HBO. I don't care about it. Neither one of these guys are going to go on to do anything noteworthy. Buy a fight between fighters who are on top of their game. I guess Golden Boy really does have HBO by the balls.

As much as I'd like to see a rematch, I'd rather see Juan go up against a guy that can punch so he can get his clocked clean. Paulie won the fight so let him fight someone else, let Diaz get exposed again. Diaz has been one of the most overrated fighters in the whole sport.
