Antonio Margarito got out boxed by Williams and Mosley,
why can't Floyd do the same? I don't even believe we're
debating Margarito when this guy has shown the world
how good of a fighter he is by cheating? To say Floyd
is scared of this guy was/is ridiculous to me. He just
never was worth it. I know Floyd can be beat but I
never thought Margarito was the one to do it.

I like Shane Mosley, he's a great fighter and a true gentlemen of the ring, but what is happening in his career he is the only one to blame.

He talks about other fighters like Pacman, PBF and Cotto as fighters avoiding him and only interested in money when the fact is that Cotto gave him a shot when he was not even a Champion, and he lost. PBF was also willing to fight him years ago and he never stepped up to the plate. Pacquaio is just arriving to the WW division and because of the size advantage and money it is wiser for him to fight Cotto 1st and then look at a possible fight with Mosley, if Pacman wins and the fight with PBF cant be made.

It is not others people fault that his value lowered after losing to Forest, Wright and Cotto although it did rise after his victory over Margarito but not to the level of these other fighters. Sadly the value in boxing today is not only measured by the skills of the boxer but what the boxer brings to the table in excitement, entertainment and very importantly fan base and thats one of the things that Mosley has lost a lot. As a boxer he is at the level of these other boxers but busine$$ wise he's not. Why has he not sign a fight with Clottey or Paul Williams and tried to build his value instead of looking for oponents (Judah) that will only keep him in the background??? Are these 2 boxers "avoiding" him too?? Dont think so. Curious how didn't even mentioned Cottey or Williams.

Mosley cant blame these other boxers (MP, Cotto or PBF) for going after biger buc$$$, the kind of money that they would not have made if they would have chosen Mosley as their oponents. Yes Mosley, boxing today is all about money, didn't you get the memo??? or let me ask you something, have you Ever fought for free?? Dont think so. It's just that the difference of the money you are making compared to these other fighters, is alot smaller, but YOUR ARE FIGHTING FOR MONEY SAME AS EVERBODY ELSE!!!!

I respect mosley alot but didn't Cotto beat him so how is Cotto scared he had his shot and lost. Also and I'm not a floyd fan but floyd offered him a fight twice and he turned it down so he only has himself to blame now he has to wait.

I'll take that back. Floyd wasn't scared of Margo. But his team was scared to match him up with him. Please don't bring Williams outboxing him to the picture. Nobody at 147 is going to fight that man. That goes for Mosley, Cotto , and Mayweather. He was still outboxed by Quintana and nobody will fight him at that weight. I don't blame them either

People fail to see the bigger picture with the Margarito/Floyd situation.

At the time, 2006 after Floyds fight with Judah, he was desperately trying to get a fight with De la Hoya. For the same reason everybody else was $$$$$. Even Margarito himself was desperate to fight Oscar. At the time Oscar and Arum wasn't doing business together, they had beef. Oscar told Floyd if he was with Arum he wouldn't fight him. So Floyd bought out his contract with Arum.

Tehn Arum offered Floyd 8 million to fight Margarito, but another part of the deal was a contract extension. Obviously Floyd didn't accept. Arum now gets to build up Margarito, who at the time hadn't actually done all that much, by saying Floyd the p4p best fighter in the world turned down 8 million to fight Margarito. The media hates Floyd so they jump on the Margarito bandwagon. Now Margarito goes from a tough rugged Mexican to the second coming of Julio Cesar Chavez Sr.

Idiot Mosley, Cotto scared of him what a joke. Cotto already beat his dumb ass, this ***** is just reaching. Pac is fighting Cotto which is the much bigger fight and Mayweather doesn't have an excuse he's the only one that doesn't want to fight him.

Instead of talking all this **** and trying to fight people that have bigger fights lined up or don't want to fight him which is only one. He should be looking for people that would, I'm sure Paul Williams would love to fight him so would Cintron, Quintana or Berto. It's looks to me that the only one worried money and who doesn't want to fight is Mosley himself.
