Cotto was way more skilled than Margarito and that's why
he should have won and I always said that BUT Cotto didn't
fight his fight but instead opted to fight Margarito's. Floyd
doesn't fight anyone's fight but his own. I'm a Floyd fan
but I'm a fan of the Floyd in the ring because he is the
smartest to put them gloves on and I know for a fact he
wouldn't trade of stand toe to toe with Margarito because
that would be a foolish thing to do. The name of the game
is hit and not get hit and fight to win using strategies to
exploit your opponents. Look what happened to Margarito
when he went up against skill fighters....... He lost.
You don't **** with a **** you out think him. PLUS
look at Margarito's worth now? If he was that dangerous
he would not have needed an illegal substance to beat
his opponents considering he was bigger than a lot of
    other welters.

I don't make excuses I just call it how I see it and to me
Floyd beat Oscar. In De La Hoya's prime he blew a lot
of big fights gassing or not staying consistent (Trinidad).
He wasn't dominating everyone in his prime to say
Mayweather wouldn't be able to stand a chance.

So you really think Floyd retired/un retired because of Antonio
Margarito? A Guy who needed an illegal substance to beat smaller
guys? Ha ha ha ha! Margarito was/is an overrated fighter and I
always believe that and he proved me right.

Antonio Margarito got out boxed by Williams and Mosley,
why can't Floyd do the same? I don't even believe we're
debating Margarito when this guy has shown the world
how good of a fighter he is by cheating? To say Floyd
is scared of this guy was/is ridiculous to me. He just
never was worth it. I know Floyd can be beat but I
never thought Margarito was the one to do it.

I'll take that back. Floyd wasn't scared of Margo. But his team was scared to match him up with him. Please don't bring Williams outboxing him to the picture. Nobody at 147 is going to fight that man. That goes for Mosley, Cotto , and Mayweather. He was still outboxed by Quintana and nobody will fight him at that weight. I don't blame them either

Taking all things into consideration, Floyd was injured in the first
JLC fight right or wrong? And in the rematch he beat the bigger
Castillo more convincingly when he was at his best with no debates
so that shows that Floyd could beat him. Skills pay the bills.

He had a second De La Hoya fight in the works and retired.
I think his retirement was more personal than being scared
of another man. Floyd comes from an all boxing family,
I believe he has experienced some things that make him
scared of no one. A lot of other fighters pick who they
want to fight when they get to a certain point in their
careers so why the big fuss about Floyd doing it?
Pacquiao and Roach are blatantly looking for safe fights
and now is trying everything in their power to handicap
Cotto chances of winning? Floyd fought everyone at their
natural weight besides JMM and I think that's to give JMM
a lil advantage but Pac has fought at 147 before but doesn't
want to fight Cotto at 147? If Floyd really wanted to play
it safe he would have stayed retired and went out on a high
                      note.
