its easy to live up to a hype if ur fighting old people and mediocre opposition.

did he beat a prime gonzalez? prime estrada? tete? nery? ruenroeng? rungvisai? donaire might beat casimero.....

all these completely avoided opportunities to truly prove his #3 p4p ranking.

He passes the eye test. But not the "quality of opposition" test.

broner belongs in the same bracket as donaire and hamed? hamed beat 7-8 top 5 guys in his division. broner beat 1. very silly

hamed and donaire's opposition was pretty good, they fought everyone there at the lower weights and didnt run into trouble until they moved up. hamed could have fought barrera or morales maybe a few years earlier but for a while he was at lower divisions than them and he beat a lot of good fighters.

They still werent getting rated higher than guys like RJJ or floyd and Inoue still isnt making it very high in the top p4p list today

yeah i think these people dont remember and only think of the barrera fight which hamed idk if he was the favorite or if it was even going in but they only think of that loss. If they were around for that era they would know he was fighting the top guys in his division and beating them while often clowning around and making it look easy

Against who? I was going to say Luis Nery but he turned out to be a bum.
