ggg won't take the jermall fight even if jermall looks bad. Styles make fights. Jermall made this fight harder than it should be by trading blows with montiel when he could have used his range and jabs more. ggg seems stuck with nowhere to go, and he doesn't seem interested in any big fights. ggg is looking to fight some japanese bum in japan by this year's end. He is free throughout the year and doesn't want to take any fights. Loser...
You criticize GGG for taking on somebody less dangerous but you don't criticize Charlo for struggling against a C level opponent who got blasted out by Munguia in 2 rounds, and Charlo has made a career of fighting guys like this, he's in his 30s and his best win was against a shot, beat up Dervachenko. This fight was hard for Charlo because he's nothing special and would get blasted by any of the Big Dogs.

Montiel had to be on some type of steroids to just keep coming forward like Frankenstein, no balance, no coordination, awkward but super strong, just taking flush punches with little reaction.
Charlo's punch selection seemed off, like he wasn't using the right shots at the right time. Also i notice Charlo throws an uppercut from far away that is kinda sloppy.

Right. If a D level hard hitting pressure fighter is giving Jermall problems than what would an A+ level hard hitting pressure fighter do? I also think Murata vs. Charlo would be very competitive. I give Charlo the edge but Murata has the tools to get Charlo out of there.

So Charlo is suppose to be “the guy” to give Canelo problems?? Lol. Can we stop this? Charlo is wide open for uppercuts and body shots (this has been a problem in his last 2 fights) he ain’t beating Canelo and it honestly the 2-3 time I’ve seen him gassed after 8 rounds. The whole they can come to 160 for my belts tells you he ain’t ready for no one at 168.

Charlo looked a shadow of his usual self last night. It’s clear he was weight drained as his footwork looked off all night and his punches looked like arm
ounches. That is not the same fighter who beat devrychenko. Devry would have beaten that version of Charlo.
now having said all that, those of you who don’t like him and never likes him or his advisor who are just looking to blast the man because of some dark political objective….you’re doing too much. You’re trying too hard.

Same fighter who "beat" Korobov though.

Charlo vs GGG would be a battle of jabs. Charlo has the physical attributes to win that fight but I don't know if he has the footwork to maintain the distance he would want to fight at but I'm also unsure how willing GGG is to sell out to get in his preferred range at this stage of his career.

On the contrary Mungia blast out because he fought at 147 and not 160. So Montiel was starving himself and drain himself to make weigh in that bout.

This guy was sloppy and inexperienced on this level and he had a few moments that tell me Charlo better get Canelo name outta his mouth because he’s on another level! I just see a strong solid fighter but not an invincible type of fighter when Jermal fights.
