This dude didn't even know how to throw a punch and he was cracking Charlo. Charlo is there to be hit, especially when he's trading. Guys like Triple G and Canelo would expose him badly. Both Triple G and Canelo excel at countering with powerful shots. And leading. Triple G's relentless aggression would be too much for Charlo. Canelo has the whole package but would likely go to decision. I see Triple G in a war but winning in spectacular fashion. Canelo wins a one sided fight by UD or late stoppage.

Seen a lot of comments saying that Charlo gets destroyed by GGG, Benavidez and Canelo and just came here to say that "Styles makes figths". Give his props to Montiel, that guy did go in there to get paid, he went to get that title and he did amazingly well for what 99% of us thought he would do.

Montiel is ankward as hell, has that switching each 5 seconds and that very weird straight up guard, look I'm not gonna put excuses for Charlo not stopping him and gettin hit with big shots but neither Benavidez, GGG or Canelo fight like Montiel.

I would still pick Charlo to beat GGG in a very tough fight and I still think he would give Canelo a hard fight, I think his kryptonite would be Benavidez as it seems that Charlo isn't quite comfortable at inside fighting, Benavidez is a crazy ass inside fighter as he will whoop you from all angles with speedy combinations.

Charlo might've had an off night, we'll see, he did not looked great but he still get the job done, he still has a great chin, he still punches hard and he still is a crafty fighter.

This fight was hard for Charlo because he's nothing special and would get blasted by any of the Big Dogs.
Funny that you know derevyanchenko, a guy who arguably beat ggg and declare him being shot. He tried to beat charlo, fought his heart out, but couldn't do it. Montiel got beat by munguia at 147 ibs and has gotten better, so quit your weak triangle theories. Why was the fight hard for charlo? He still won every round, but made the fight harder than it should be by trading unnecessarily when he could have used his other tools to beat him up even more.

Jermal is getting lumped up at 160, and this fight let him know, he's reaching his physical limits, even he said he's staying at 160. That doesn't make him a coward, he's not swerving, 8 pounds of needless flesh is a big advantage. He would have to eat more and slack off on training to make weight. Canelo, Benevidez, and Sweethands, would all be huge favorites, but Andrade? That seems the path of least resistance, let 3G fertilize and eliminate some legit competition.

These triangle theories are horrible! Yes, Mungia blasted through Montiel....but Mungia struggled with Hogan and arguably lost that fight. Didn't Charlo stop Hogan? Styles do make fights, but whatever, huh?

I also remember so many people complaining about Charlo/Montiel being a horrible mismatch and they weren't going to watch....yet, here they are with their commentary and banter. Gotta love it! Lol

Here's the problem I see with Charlo....he consistently has shown zero stamina late in the fights....and that's EVERY single fight I've seen.

Its high time we left Jermall Charlo alone and focus on JERMELL CHARLO....you know...the one that's actually worth a damn.
