Hmm when last has Pacquiao stopped someone, besides Matthysse. He could win, but it's going to be tough.

It's a very big fight, but for pure excitement level, I'd say Fury-Wilder 3 is more exciting, with the power on display, and the bad blood in that fight.

They are going hard sell on Manny, notice Spence is very quiet I'm told he is training like a man possessed, Spence is the bogey man here and they need to sell Mannys chances to hype the fight, you can always tell when they want to push the underdog as they release loads of snippet footage of bag work a run here and there and all talk about KOs etc

I think Manny has a decent chance to win it on points, for me its how much does Errol want it, not like Thurman seen ******** in Vegas at 3 am before the fight, injuries and time out etc this is why Manny was the betting favorite, Errol has a chance to take that next step its up to him he was given a second chance on life best he uses it to the fullest.

Pac would have to be spectacular to stop Spence--not impossible but not likely. I am going with Pac just for sentimental reasons. Both are great fighters.
Also--Crawford is the top welter but he's fighting lower-level fighters. Why?

1. Promotional divide
2. Bud’s skill level (he’s not seen as vulnerable)
3. Bud’s complacency (for all his skill, he also doesn’t seem to care who he fights as long as he is paid well).

If Pac gets a stoppage, I'll celebrate it because it'll be a middle-aged man beating the odds, a legend reliving former glories.

The liklihood is that it won't happen, though, and the overwhelming liklihood is that it won't happen by stoppage. Manny maybe, maybe can win on points. I don't see him stopping Spence.

Manny cannot possibly be faster or stronger than Spence. Wilier? Yes. More skilled? Yes. Better knowledge of the sport? Most certainly.

But...

Not stronger. Not faster. Reflexes have to be impacted by age.

Spence is much longer. Much bigger. Still in his prime. A 5-inch reach difference for welters is huge. And 31 years vs 41 years counts for a hell of a lot. Spence will win.

Manny doesn’t appear to be all that interested in forcing stoppages late in his career even when he floors opponents but it’s great to hear he will be well trained and determined. Should make for an entertaining fight

I think he will lock him and clear, the thing is what happens when Manny gets hurt, you see him get buzzed a few time with Thurman not so sure what he will do with Errol in these moments because Errol will come on not back of as Thurman did.

I think Errol will take Mannys shots Im not so sure how Manny will handle Errols body shots, I think if Errol handles Mannys power as many in other fights have he could just break him down, even when Thurman went down it wasn't power that put him there, if Errol is really hungry and his mind is focused he should have it in the bag, if there is any kinks in Spence Manny will find them.

not once did that happen... yeah he caught some heavy blows towards the end, but to my surprise, he took it well!!... "buzzed" would be like in the 10th when manny got thurman doing a marathon in the ring, that's what i would consider as being "buzz/hurt".. i am not saying pac is superman, but i did not see him get hurt in the thurman fight.

in my opinion, thurman has stronger one punch type power than spence and manny took it well so im not too concern about that.. spence is a pressure and volume puncher, this is the perfect style for pac, he doesnt have to chase and get off balance, he can just let spence come to him, throw his shots and spin out and repeat... remember pac has the faster hands and feet here! unless spence changes up his style and become very defensive, i dont see much success for spence.

As the fight become close the odds will also be closer wait until the Filipino fans come to Vegas, I'll put big for Pacquiao.
