Aw ain’t you just a legend mate.
Really sticking it to the man and not conforming. Keep up with the struggle lol
you may get a badge of awesomeness to show how real you are one day.

When in actual reality women’s boxing sucks, and it ends there. Whether it’s by popular opinion or not. It’s why people don’t tune in too watch it. Just like women’s basketball.

115lbs is a solid division though.

I feel like your wrongly adding the two of them together to make a point, when in fact 115bs is a talented division whereas women’s boxing is a ridiculously shallow talent pool that just is no where near men’s boxing and shouldn’t be referenced as such.

There's only 2 ways Clarissa Shields gets paid " male money " . # 1- sex change operation. , # 2 - with her new found nuts, fight Amanda Nunes .

Like i always say smaller gloves is the way to go . Their punches will be a lot faster sharper and in result lead to more KO's . Which will lead to more entertaining fights , more screen time , more fans , more money , finally more talent . When woman with decent talent see they can make good money in boxing and the Talent pool isn't anything out of their reach more woman will get into it and increase the talent in woman's boxing. It won't happen over night but smaller gloves is by far the best option just look at how much faster Shields hands looked in 4oz Gloves . 3 rounds won't change much at all , if anything it'll make things worse , I don't see how that would lead to more entertaining fights or Knockouts

Seeing this, Tennis comes to mind. The women want more money for less work. The men play 5 sets, while the female play three sets.

              3 minutes x 4 rounds for novices = 12 mins
              3 minutes x 6 rounds for prospects = 18 mins
              3 minutes x 8 rounds for title fights = 24 mins

Whats the issue with that format? Longer rounds allows the more skilled fighters to flourish and the better conditioned pressure fighters to wear the opponent down. Ultately it would lead to higher quality fights as the fighters do not feel the need to rush their work to impress the judges.

MMA is different for a few reasons. Alot of parents have their daughters in some type of Martial Art at a young age. Whether it be Karate , Judo, Wrestling or whatever. So by the time they become " women " , they have a skill in the fight game. Which makes the talent pool huge in MMA , worldwide. They don't say" ok Brittany, were going to the dingy Boxing gym full of men, at 8 yrs old, so you can learn how to fight' . It's normal for girls to start in a Martial Art. Anyhow, the UFC women have had many decent fighters and what makes it even better is alot of them are/were pretty hot. Then you see them kicking and punching the s h i t out of each other and it becomes quite entertaining. Then we see them engaged in a 6 T 9 for a few minutes and we like it even more. Miesha Tate, Page Van Zant, Michelle Waterson , Gina Carano, Alexa Grasso etc. are pretty easy on the eyes. Of course every guy has their own visual tastes but I think MMA women dress and come off as more sexy. They catch our attention certainly alot more than a woman that has baggy shorts down to her knees and looks 1/2 male as most decent woman boxers do. There's no " sex appeal " in woman's boxing. Just looks at Shields. After watching her for a few rounds I literally have nightmares thinking about her face. Nevermind her ****** rank mouth and the s h i t she spews out of it. Which makes her even more ugly. Anyhow, in my mind it's got alot to do with sex appeal . Put some hot chicks in a boxing ring that can fight half decent, and we'll watch. Put women in there that look like men and can't fight worth a crap , we won't. That's just the way it works. The " fight game" audience is predominantly male. That's just the way it is . And always will be.
I agree on the sex appeal/outfit aspect. Look at how popular women's tennis is compared to the WNBA. You also have butchy looking women in baggy shorts.

Many may not want to admit this but male fighters Boxing and MMA sell sex themselves. Men don't have to fight shirtless but they do because yes even men like to see men who look fit and masculine. The most popular male boxers tend to have the look.

Like you mentioned in female MMA they embrace more women looking fit but still feminine and sexy.

I fail to see your logic....there would be way more stoppages and keeping it at 2 minute rounds is the reason that KATIE the trailer TAYLOR is still a champion and not Delfine Persoon.

Your reasoning makes no sense at all.

You are of the select few who intentionally tunes in to watch a women’s boxing match.

So when you come in hot and heavy acting like “how dare you suggest no one watches it, you’re just trying to act cool”
I would stop and just look at those numbers.

The fact is, next to no one cares for women’s boxing.
So good on you for supporting it, and best of luck if that’s what you’re into.

but you came in waaaaay to gun ho to protect a sport that’s just not popular for obvious reasons
I have to agree here....most women's fights I'm just not going to watch...just stating facts.

Some folks on here or on YouTube try to pretend as if women's boxing is the next big thing in the US...and I'm like "what planet are you from"? Lol
