Why do you think everyone is mad that the Fury vs Joshua unification fight is not happening? It would have been all the belts on the line and the biggest earner in boxing right now. Also, it would have been the best fighting the best, even though I still say Fury is not the best.
It's risk verses reward, always. If a fighter loses to the champ or if the champ loses then their future earnings potential could be negatively impacted, especially if they were to lose badly. Wilder is an example.

one thing I would say is if fury kept bringing my name up while running away from me ...I would drive to morecombe and batter the big lummox
      I agree.

Just wanted to point out that he’s a white fishing fraud as well with no fixed abode. The biggest joke on the forum.

I don't like Wilder's personality and has too many short comings, but that right hand is legit and his whole style is designed to deliver it.
Wilder is the biggest coward and mental midget the world of boxing has ever had. To believe otherwise, isn't ignorance here, it's to be absolutely deluded. You just can't seem to accept it like so many in your asylum. You motherf3ckers need serious help.

I came to these conclusions using facts. When analysing the facts, you're able to come to a conclusion and prediction. It's not hard you know. Well, for me it isn't.

Where is Wilder to go if not the 3rd fight with Fury? But it's clear he isn't mentally ready for it. He's going to pull out. He was hoping for the pay off so he could keep his complete fabrication alive of Fury not wanting it, but he does, because he's a "Warrior King" Haha. It would be funny if this wasn't all so sick and twisted. It is a freak show. Only you have the capabilities to drag people to this level. It's the way your country works.

Who has he delivered it against? If his style is designed to deliver it, why has he lost to the worst version of Fury, and then got bushwhacked when Fury was back to his best without Wilder competing for even a minute? Because he's a joke fraud, that's why. He's a con man. "Please fear me" are his cries. He's projecting, because he's frightened. His years of ducking, lying, contradicting himself, being a hypocrite, accusing others of something that isn't true, only to commit the crime he accused others of.

When we get rid of this creature, it will be the best day in boxing for a long time.

What happened to fighting to prove you are the best? When did it be ome about protecting your career and assets? And when did it become fashionable to rall smack about a guy that you refuse to fight?

No boxer is afraid of a fight. You don't go into prize fighting and suddenly become scared that someone might hit you.

Fighters do fear losses that impact their commercial worth though. It's a risk v reward consideration. Wilder and his team were never confident enough of winning to take on Joshua. He had the option of smarter business and took it. That's exactly what matchmaking is - you pick the most credible fight that you believe you can win while factoring in the level of risk and reward. Unfortunately they miscalculated with fat Fury.

But he's not scared of Joshua. If he loses to Fury again the risk v reward calculation shifts completely - and he'll desperately want to fight Joshua.

As for his right hand. He has power, but so does every other heavyweight to some degree. They've all got a puncher's chance but there are levels to this game and a puncher's chance against someone like Fury or Joshua is a pretty low probability.

Not a Wilder fan and I know what I am looking at. You are too emotionally invested so there is no reasoning with you or you simply won't consider a counter point.

Good questions and I suppose the answers vary from one fighter to another. If all boxing was amateur it would almost entirely be about who is the very best and the recognition that goes with that accomplishment. I would think that amateur boxers become professional boxers first because they can make money by doing something they like. If they are top level then they make a lot of money and that easily becomes their first objective with recognition while still important not being as important. When you look at the matchups we are seeing it is fairly obvious that fighters, managers and promoters are about money first and how to maximize revenue over the long run.

Some say Wilder is the biggest bum in boxing history
                    Hmmm
He has more than 1 W
                    Was a feared champ

                    Some say he's a coward
                    Hmmm
He's going right back in there to fight the guy who gave him a public humiliation (with the help of an incompetent ref).

                    Boxing fans are then worst
