Radio Rahim- Salute for asking the real Wilder question (interview)

And it's not like this is the only time Raheem has done it. I called out in 2019 when Raheem hit Crawford with the tough questions too and celebrated it then - Crawford basically saying he's happy never to fight big names, he's already been unified and Raheem is like "yeah but not at welterweight doe".
It's his job to put difficult questions to the fighters and their team. Obviously he needs to use good judgment and not be argumentative for the sake of it, but as fans we should be supporting those who take the role of journalist seriously and don't simply act as shills or cheerleaders for one boxer or another.
I think this interview is a good example of RR at his best, refusing to allow a question to go unanswered but retaining his good humour and getting some halfway decent answers out of Scott in the process.
I did sympathise with Malik, he has to deal with the aftermath of Wilder's outbursts and who could blame him for sidestepping the issue of Breland's reputation, the tainted water, costume etc. There's no benefit to him or his fighter in getting into that and he probably gave the only answer he could. He came out of this interview ok in my view as did RR.
He's the ONLY legit interviewer left in the business.

Radio Raheem, was questioning Malik in a manner that would lead a unsuspecting dope to construct Raheem's own ugly portrayal of Deontay 'Bronze-Bomber' Wilder. But Malik Scott, is not a fool and did not fall for Raheem's provocations.Comment

That's because you're biased, and you absolutely believe Wilder's explanation about gypsy magic and spiked water. Right?Comment

I base my unfavorable opinion on Tyson Fury on multiple UKAD anti-doping violations, suspension. Documented glove-tampering, eye-witnesses, court-rulings, video evidence ; you know the facts.Comment

The wilder apologists are fckn hilarious. I find it hard to believe those that champion his cheating claims actually believe it, I think its mostly trolling. I hope it is. Raheem asked questions that need to be answered. Wilder makes wild ass accusations then refuses to do interviews with anyone but his sycophants. Wilder is a top tier moron, anyone that listens to his gibberish and comes away thinking any other way has some serious issues differentiating fantasy from reality. The truth is Malik needs to speak for him from now on.Comment

Why do you understand it? You do understand that the purpose of journalism is to ask actual questions, including difficult ones? You just looking for some talking head yes man. That's boring AF and not real, maybe switch to WWF if you want pre scripted bs.The line of questions by Radio Raheem was unprofessional. Raheem is a weasel, he was indirectly expressing fault and was critical of what Deontay Wilder believes regarding the 'Snake in the grass' Mark Breland and his fellow conspirators.
Furthermore, Radio Raheem was attempting to engender dissension in Wilder's camp, I now understand why Elie Seckbach got the exclusive and Radio Raheem got the door slammed in his face.Comment
