If somebody plants their feet Kava has the power to get them out of there like he did with Avanesyan but the guys you mentioned won't do that. He might have gotten a knockdown against Bud but that was because Crawford wanted to channel The Marvelous One that night. Kava is a fun fighter but maybe he's just more of a tough guy than a boxer.

I see a strong fighter that can get into great positions using his lead control plus getting in and off the line.
Hes definitely not just a straight up and down fighter.
He has technique and knows body mechanics to get into positions to hurt people.

NO! He lost to Journeyman Ray Robinson but they saved his 0 with a Draw. Give me Thurman, Porter and Ugas over Mean Machine Convincingly. Now to be fair I do think Mean Machine is a solid fighter and has improved since this fight and he is a Top 10 Welterweight but NO he is not beating any of the Top Tier Welterweights
