So what is the lineage of this pfp title?

Meaning, who won it from who dating all the way back to Robinson.

    I'd love to see this.

And to the other ******s that are saying the PPV sales dont matter becuase he's already gauranteed 15 million, that isnt even set in stone. If this fight bombs then Floyd will get no where near 15 million for his next fights, and it will lower his percentage demands for future fights. If this fight does no more than 400k, Floyd cant expect 50-50 for Manny.
I didnt say PPV doesnt matter. So who the F**K are you replying to. You seem like youre a taste ******ed. You got a history of hate so I get it. Let me play the crystal ball for a second. mmmmmmmmmmmm. Youre right, by God youre right. They wont split 50-50 because they wont be fighting after Cotto gets in that ass.

Floyd is the no.1 name in boxing wether you think he is the no.1 boxer is the only thing up for debate. Why would he come back and fight Clottey or Collazo for pocket change and your respect. He cant force Marquez to move up to WW. I think in all of this fanatic commotion we forget that Marquez is a grown man and knows exactly what hes getting into. You just do the simple math: 15 mil or less than 15 mil. Which is the better deal.
p4p was started for the people? P4P rankings were created by boxing writers and analysts of RING Magazine in order to establish which fighters would be ranked at what level/ order from 1 thru 10 REGARDLESS of what weight they were. Hence the reason Floyd was ranked #1 for so long....same with Roy Jones.....although they didn't face the BEST COMPETITION OUT THERE....they're skills were undeniably the best, solidifying their p4p#1 status...no doubt that Floyd will soon regain his #1 status....but if he will have earned it via fighting the best....or based on the skillset we know he has?

Highly disagree....if Floyd was the number 1 name in boxing...why is it everytime he gets interviewed....Manny Pacquiao's name is brought up (followed by the definition of a "stank face" by Floyd)....but when Pacquiao is interviewed or an article is written....Marquez's name is the one that is thrown at him...followed by Floyd's in a close 2nd.
If Floyd was truly the #1 name in boxing....he could sell out any venue, get at least 500K PPV buys a fight, wouldn't need to do all this promoting in the UK for a fight with a mexican.....the Hatton and DLH fights really got to Floyd and his mindset that he is the "cash-cow" of boxing.

Chump change and my respect.....please....without the respect of us fans....excluding his huggers....and our "chump change"....Floyd wouldn't have **** except his wack ass "Philthy Rich Records" who can't produce ****...his mink coats that he wears in the ****** Las Vegas heat....and he would have to sell all his posessions just to Lease all the **** he sold to keep up his image that he is still a "big boy".

Who gives a damn because there have been paper champions throughout as well as real champions. When it comes down to business fans keep boxing alive not the WBC. Money is generated through spectators. I would gladly receive your list of "lineage" since youre such a history buff.

When it comes to ppv, as long as mayweather/marquez does better than pacquiao/marquez then Floyd wins. Right?

A bit long.....but the complete Lineage from 1910 to 2009.

So Floyd was only p4p king from 2005 till he retired in 2007...funny...I assumed it was longer than that....

                      Actually,

                      you do.

At this point P4P does hold the most weight in an era where there are 5000 snactioning bodies and belts to attain.

So again, break down the lineage of the pfp title since it holds so much weight in this era.
