True or Flase: Paul Williams lost a lot by losing to Quintana

Williams gets flack because his resume isn't that deep yet. But no one is favored to beat him at 147 or 154. Can't see how the loss hurt him, considering who he's beaten at those two weights.
Without the rematch? Yes, it would've hurt him. Now most people think he's unbeatable, hell they even have him beating Hopkins FCS.Comment

A zero can force people to fight you. Instead that one loss forced him into two different weight classes. I wish people wouldnt talk about his resume because he is truly trying to get in there with the best. I want Shane see if Shane gets trashed on here because he looked over P.Will.Comment

of course, if williams was still unbeaten he would be getting bigger fights and be on ppv! he must kick himself losing his 0 against carlos Q!Comment

Hell no he hasn't lost a lot. Nothing would be different. Would Floyd be fighting him right now instead of Marquez? Hell no. Would Mosley? Not a chance. The loss only set him back to showtime for one fight to redeem himself, and he did in stunning fashion.
He's getting Pavlik on December 5 as long as Kelly doesn't puss out again. That will be a defining moment in his career.Comment

To me, no.
He avenged his loss.
As for his loss to Qunitanna, everyone has a bad night. Just because you are the better fighter, that doesn't guarantee you a win. I think Williams was just off in that fight for some reason, not sure why.
Personally I think there is too much emphasis on losses in boxing. NOBODY is unbeatable. I mean Pacquaio has what like 4 losses, a draw and has a questionable win in his second fight against Marquez? And he is considered one the best fighters in the world.
Lewis got KO'd by Rahman.
Wladimir won a razor thin decision against TOS and lost to Ross Purity.
It happens.Comment
