True or Flase: Paul Williams lost a lot by losing to Quintana

IMO had he stayed undefeated he would have more leverage in making fights happen. He would imo have more hype around him and people would be begging the big names to fight him.

That lost set him back (promotional/hype wise). I know it's bull **** but thats is how the fans of this era view things. They think 1 loss and your damage good ect. We know Paul came back and KO'd Quintana but that loss is still their.

    Your thoughts?

Obviously if he was undefeated he would have more leverage.

False. I don't think people would be lining up to fight him even if he still had his 0.

I can understand why Paul doesn't want to fight Clottey but, Clottey might be his only option.

Definitely set him back a bit.

He kinda had to work his way back up and prove he's more than just a freak, which I think he's done since beating the Winkster

He probably would've been looked at with much more esteem, but I don't think its gonna make or break anything.

If he gets passed Pavlik, he's good.

Paul shouldnt try to get down to 147..hes been flirting around with Pavlik so just stay at 154/160..If Clottey wants to fight Paul he needs to bring his big ass up to 154...or **** off.

                  Pavlik or Sturm..or Hopkins.

Not all fans think that way...I created a thread about that subject a couple of weeks back....

But that statement is false....it would be like saying Manny would have more leverage if he didn't lose to Marquez....yet he came back to win the rematch and the rubber. Did P-Willy not redeem himself immediately against Quintana?
(a'la RJJ/ Griffin) If anything, it proved that he didn't prepare for that fight like he should have, and took Quintana lightly....a mistake fighters are allowed...but just make sure that you come back stronger.

Oh...and Floyd is the only one (fighter) who thinks being undefeated is "having negotiating power".
