Who will their opponents be: Povetkin, Ruiz, Boytsov, Chagaev, Chambers, Dimitrenko?

I hear Povetkin is taking a warm-up fight in October, or possibly a fight for an interim IBF title. Boytsov is scheduled to fight Oct 10, but no opponent has yet been named. Ruiz will be on the Haye-Valuev undercard - who will he face?

I hear Oleg Maskaev is ready and looking for a fight, and I've read Eddie Chambers will likely take a stay-active fight late this year. I've heard Dimitrenko and Chagaev will probably have comeback fights on a Universum card late in the year.

I wonder, who will these heavyweights be fighting?

Ideally, they should be matched up against each other.

I'd like to see Povetkin vs. Ruiz on the Haye-Valuev card.

I'd like to see Povetkin fight Ruiz and hopefully get him out of the heavyweight picture once and for all, it's also a good keep busy fight for him.

It would be an easy fight to make by the promoter, because it's a Sauerland fight card. Like Valuev, Povetkin is a Sauerland fighter.

Povetkin would go for it, but would Ruiz be willing?

what the *** is wrong with you? No one in their right mind wants to see Ruiz fight again. And to be honest, Valuev is falling under that same category. I want to see Oleg Platov against Chambers, Albert Sosnowski against Povetkin, Ondrej Pala against Chagaev in hopefully an upset, and Dimitrenko to get his confidence back against someone like Denis Bahktov. Bahktov's fight with Sinan Samil Sam a few years ago the man ate like 40 uppercuts from Sam before he fell

I was thinking Povetkin would decisively defeat Ruiz, and we would be rid of him.

Platov is fighting on September 19 against Cengiz Koc.

I agree Pala would have a chance of defeating Chagaev, not because Chagaev is shot, but because Ondrej is underrated.

Bakhtov at 5'11" is too short to fight the 6'7" Dimitrenko, it would look ridiculous. Dimitrenko vs. Donnell Holmes would be good.

Platov will handle Cengiz, Koc has never had his heart in fighting. So a fight in December or November against Chambers in Germany, wouldn't hurt for him to continue to get a few supporters over there. Holmes, man booooooo. Donnell is a never was with even less skills, Bahktov has some experience and some skill, and the height difference isn't a concern, it's letting Dimitrenko look good and gain confidence agaisnt a credible opponent.

Watch his fight with Minto, you'll see Donnell is a little better than you believe.

I've watched dozen of rounds of Donnell, seen him spar in person for a couple years and he is a really nice guy, thats his best attribute.
