  • Teo will be forced to rematch Loma.

Triller is taking a chance on Teo right and unless Teo smokes Kambosis dirty and the numbers are crazy, I don't think Triller gonna want to throw him another bundle. Also, I think his Dad is going to go nuts when they don't get fully paid like Jones and Tyson did with Triller. You know thats a dark and dank 37th chamber in Papa Teo's mind right now keeping his coked up arse up at night.

This leaves him back to Arum.

Arum said if Loma wins his next, they can do a PPV before his kid is born in November. They got a October 11th day all ready to book. If Teo don't want that smoke, he'll end up fighting Taylor. Nobody wants to see that, even the UK fans probably don't want to see that. Haney is out of the picture due to his contract ending with DAZN and Hearn having options on him for another fight.

What else Teo gonna do besides a Loma rematch? He wants that big PPV money and when Triller turns into a shethouse, Arum is calling the shots.

I like Teo, but I think Loma gets him in a rematch. If Loma gets busy out of the box, I don't think Teo can handle that smoke for 12. Jmo --->

I hope so. Loma deserves the re-match and I agree I think Loma will win.
I don't think Teo will ever give him the chance though cause they know they got lucky in the first.

I don't think Loma deserves it, he did get blown out. But I think the fans deserve it and it would do some good numbers.

It turns out he had badly bruised the rotator cuff and chipped a piece of cartilage, which we didn’t realise at the time. But we knew he’d badly bruised the rotator cuff and badly bruised the bone where the rotator cuff attaches to the shoulder. That was roughly six weeks before the fight and we got him to where he was comfortable enough to train. He said he was able to train okay, but it continued to cause him pain during the fight.

We operated on him [on Monday] night and he had what we call a hemorrhagic thickened bursitis. That’s the tissue that lubricates and cushions the rotator cuff, which is where we had treated him and injected him before the fight. On the inside of the shoulder where he had previously dislocated the shoulder, he had chipped the cartilage on the inside of the socket. That was right next to the [previous] repair so I did a small touch-up of the repair so I could cover up the bare cartilage in the front of the shoulder.
Those injections were cortisone done with live imaging which isn't exactly super strong stuff.

Bursitis can be very painful depending on if he's having impingement or not, like bring you to your knee's painful or at minimum make you lilterally scream outloud. If Limo did have this sort of bursitis (there are many different types) I would agree.

As fas as bruising the bone where his rotator cuff is, sounds like he might have either took or spill or someone hit his should in sparring. You don't get bruised bones from throwing punches.

Hard to say if his should actually effected him in the fight or not. When you have impingement near the bursar sack, it depends on how you move your arm and in some cases, you can punch fine.

But Teo doesn’t want to actually fight Loma again though.

that’s one thing you are forgetting.

not even in a fan sense, Teo straight up refused to rematch him. How does it change. He also doesn’t want to fight Haney.

so my guess is, he’ll do a Crawford and keep the wins up while taking table scraps or link up with Golden Boy for Garcia.

He has to if he wants the big money and he's all about the money right now. If he doesn't take the money and fight Loma, Bob will freeze him out and he won't have any Triller upside to get into, feel me?

Loma's manager is an idiot. Should have put the rematch clause in.

ESPN announced during the Shakur Stevenson vs. Jeremiah Nakathila undercard broadcast on Saturday that Top Rank and Lopez have amended their original five-year contract that runs until the end of 2023, and the plan is for Lopez to return back to the platform and fight on an ESPN+ pay-per-view on Oct. 2.

Arum and company could entertain the idea of staging an undisputed lightweight fight between WBC champion Devin Haney and Lopez, a Lopez rematch with Lomachenko, or a fight with undisputed super lightweight champion Josh Taylor should the 23-year-old decide to move up to the 140-pound division

sucks that Lopez has to fight Loma again. He should be allowed to take his victory and make some hay with it. If he wins again (doubtful) he is right where he was before. If he loses all the luster is gone off the accomplishment... and if its close, it means there might be unfinished business for a third fight. Arum is not looking after this kid! Lopez should tell Arum to fck himself and fight Haney, even if he has to wait, or take a tomatoe can and fight one of the other premier young guys his next fight...

There is no upside potential to a Loma fight. I mean fck all potential pay off. Heck he would be better off going with the inevitable and jumping up to 140. anything but what Satanic Bob is fixing for him...
