    MMA is not

    “It’s a real fight”

oh really? And what are they fighting inside of? The worlds smallest front yard?

Don’t know if you ever seen someone preform a triangle choke but they essentially shove there junk in your face and you’re expected to not bite their junk off. Doesn’t seem very real to me.

Never saw someone bring a steel pipe into the octagon. There is no honour in McDonalds at 3 AM and that’s real.

If you circle someone chopping their legs down then you’re giving their friends time to show up and outnumber you. Real.

Lol. I was going to turn it around and make it about boxing but accidentally posted

Was basically going to say I never saw an MMA guy beat up multiple people at once. Mike Tyson did that. UFCs Anthony Smith struggled to contain someone who broke into his house that he outweighed by 30 pounds

It’s not a real fight at all. Just get rid of the cage and it becomes a very different sport.

It is in a sense more of a ‘real’ fight than boxing as more things are permitted. I’d still argue they’re are far more things that aren’t allowed than are. If you get me.

What your average MMA fan doesn’t realise is we don’t watch boxing because it resembles a ‘real’ fight. You can go on YouTube and watch them. They are ****ing dog**** to watch

MMA/UFC are fights with rules, i agree, not real, real fight! I loved wrestling from around 97-2003, I love that era, and you hear UFC/MMA fans say people stopped watching wrestling because UFC is real, but there are many wrestling moves that are not, and would never be allowed in UFC/MMA because they are too dangerous. People should just enjoy what they want, but UFC, and MMA, are fights with rules, just like boxing is, whereas a real street fight, there are no rules.

Of course it isnt. All bets are off on the street because theres a million different factors at play, your skills wont mean much if youre ****faced and two guys sneak up on you and hit you with a baseball bat.

MMA is still the most expansive and lenient major combat sport by a wide margin though, while boxing is the most limited. Whether thats a good or bad thing is just a matter of personal taste.
