I couldn't be described as an AJ fan but I only see him winning this by a comfortably margin, and more than likely by a brutal KO.
Usk has underwhelmed at heavy, he looked uncomfortable against Chisora in the early rounds when Chisora took the fight to him, when he has to fight the much heavier handed and busier Joshua then I just see him falling apart.

      When has Aj stepped up?
4 of his last 6 were 38-41 year's old and shot.
Years ago these woyld have been exhibition fight's in the Ali Patterson mould. But in this participation everyone gets a belt age they're considered mandatories.
On top of that if Usyk were to avoid Aj all night & win we all know the negotiations revolve around inserting a safety net rematch clause which goes against the rules of a mandatory so chancers like Edward & Aj can't keep hold of the belts infinitely constantly holding up the division.

      It's pathetic.

Good to see they’ve gone this route. Credit where it’s due. Now let’s get it on. I personally believe it doesn’t matter how Usyk looked vs Del Boy. Total different fight with Joshua. Look forward to seeing it!

Agreed. I reckon Usyk fancies his chances at finding more openings due to footwork vs Joshua.

Against Pulev Joshua was trying that pullback and over the jab right cross a lot... Mayweather style. I liked it on him.

Joshua has a 4" reach advantage here btw, Usyk is up against it big time, he needs to hope Josua gasses or walks onto something huge (probably planning both!)...

I don’t think you can reasonably complain about Joshua holding up the division. He has 4 belts and has made legitimate attempts to unify against Wilder ($100m offer) and Fury.

meanwhile Wilder and Fury are lining up a third fight for the WBA title which scuppered the unification.

            who’s holding the division up?

No one will ever win on points against AJ if Hearn is involved. All the officials are in his pocket.

AJ fights always consist of a dodgy reffing, dodgy score cards

100m offer, never guaranteed an AJ fight. AJ lost his titles to fat Mexican so unification fight could never of happened under that agreement.

Terms of the offer were never going to be acceptable, as it involved Wilder ditching his entire promotional team, and giving long term control of Wilder to Eddie.

thats not what Wilder and his team said. They said they were betting on themselves.

why are you making excuses for Wilder and his team and speaking on their behalf? Let them speak for themselves. They said they were betting on themselves (suggesting they thought they could make more money elsewhere, which seems like a dubious claim, especially in hindsight)

unless you can provide me with proof of what you’re claiming?

That's not true. Wilder wouldn't have needed to ditch anybody and Hearn wasn't even involved in the offer. It was set up by Lou DiBella, Wilder's promoter, and it would have been a deal between Wilder and DAZN. Nothing to with Hearn at all.

Chisora and briedis both drew with Usyk in recent years, so Joshua should beat him quite comfortably.
