Will Cotto move up to 154?

Cotto isn't big enough to be the same force at 154 he is at 147. He would be competitive, but not at the top of the division.Comment

Every boxer say they won't fight past 30 but they still do. Few boxers just retire. Cotto will most likely continue to box as long as his body can take the punishment so at the end of the day the ring will retire him.
As far as Cotto fighting at 154. I don't see that happen. I don't think he's big nor strong enough to beat the top guys at that division. Cotto will remain at 147Last edited by VatoMulatto; 09-02-2009, 01:10 PM.Comment

Professional athletes always talk about retirement during their peak years and eventually continue until they become insignificant in their chosen career.
Brett Favre is a good exampleComment

cotto can't even beat up margo and clottey. cotto can't compete at 154.I was wondering about this. When he gets a little older, will he and should he move up? He never was particularly fast for a ww, so would it be better if he fought at 154? He does have the power and the chin to compete there and its not like there is such a HUGE difference between the two divisions. It would be something else if he moved right up to 160.Comment
