I wouldn’t care if it was Matchroom, TR or anyone else.
I’m only interested in having access to boxing that is convenient to me. Staying up to 4am watch shows in America can be a pain. With streaming app I can watch the whole card whenever I want.
When I’m away on vacation I can watch DAZN on my phone.
I would like everyone to follow suit.Last edited by Dakuwaqa; 06-10-2021, 04:37 PM.Comment

Yet to be seen if DAZN will come out on top in boxing, but streaming is definitely the future and I'd say it's the very near future at this point, more and more people every day moving away from old school TV and rightfully soComment

I can remember many times where I was not at home on a SAturday or on a trip and wanted to watch a fight, I had no options others than to get lucky and find a bar that was showing the fight. And by "get lucky" I mean do serious scouring, calling places...I would put in work sometimes. CAn't order PPV at hotels even if you want to pay, apps solve that problem.
They basically forced my hand: if I only have to pay a minimal amount for a sub then I'd rather do that than deal with finding streams.
plus it has opened up another side of the sport to my dad who only watches boxing that is served up for him on TV. Now the old man is more advanced with the apps than I am
I'll pay to watch fights in person, I'll pay for an app, I'll pay to watch "pay per view" but I'm not going to PPV if it means I have to get/keep cable..... gotta find a way to get to my pocket than using the middle man with the cable company.Last edited by LA_2_Vegas; 06-10-2021, 04:49 PM.Comment

I dropped DAZN when they lost Bellator, and purchased Showtime. However, Showtime sucks - they don't let you replay whenever you want to. I don't need their movie library (with Amazon Prime having tons of movies), so I will likely drop Showtime and just stream Bellator if I happen to be wanting to watch it the exact moment that it's on. If DAZN had more big fights, then I'd be more interested in paying for a subscription again. The random boxing fights + Bellator was enough.
DAZN was also kind of shaky when it first came out, but it got much better. They didn't offer enough content (especially during the COVID crap) for me to keep it though. If I was overseas and could see NFL, MLB, etc., then sure. I don't care for rugby, darts, basket weaving, or whatever other stuff they have on.Comment

Your serious lack of counter argument seems to be evidence that you actually agree but you can’t bring your salty self to say it so you put that pretty little pink thing up there.
But don’t worry we appreciate that you agree about DAZN. Which doesn’t belong to Hearn by the way regardless of what those racists on YouTube are trying to tell you.Comment

Dazn might not be able to pay all the fighters but i see apps definitely being the future just not exclusively on dazn. Dazn isn't renewing its deal with GB so it shows how shortsighted they are. They dont see beyond culero or joshuas bumassComment
