Probably one of the most uneventful televised main events in history. Undercard had Kirkland nearly decapitating Tapia tho. Believe it or not Julian Rodriguez was also on that card.

Yeah awful fight, fortunately, I was watching the Malignaggi-Judah card instead that night. I remember I did an acca with all the underdogs, Malignaggi to beat Judah, Porter to beat Alexander, Lara to beat Trout and Bika to beat Dirrell but Bika-Dirrell got ruled a draw, I was gutted.

That fight ruined Tapia. He’s never looked the same since.
