Canelo will beat Plant. I'll be rooting for Plant tho, he has had it rough.

The problem with beating Canelo is, you HAVE to knock him out, and Plant dont got the power to do that. Canelo could take GGG's punches.
No matter how well you box, you cannot beat Canelo on points because hes the cash cow.

Plant will look good for like 6-7 rounds and will gas out on just the pressure of Canelo walking him down and trying to avoid his counters. Stoppage by a body shot after 7 rounds.

mike Lee and Feigenbutz are not proper ways to prep for Canelo. I say Round 5 TKO tbh. Canelo is a very very dangerous puncher. The momentum from his weight when he throws is too much for any 168lbr. Only David Benavidez imho will want to get hurt by Canelo… while it lasts… thing is David never been hit by guys like Canelo with 10oz gloves.

fans need to start realizing how dangerous Canelo is.
Question: If Benavidez struggles with Uzcategui, what, if anything, does that say about Plant?

I think Canelo handles Plant much easier than Saunders. Saunders had a couple decent moments in the fight but never put Canelo in a desperate situation. Canelo was in full control even when Saunders was doing good work.

With Plant, I think Canelo steam rolls him. Plant will try his slick/running ways with less success than Saunders had. Then Canelo lands something big, prolly to the body and folds Plants.

That’s a crackhead “IF.” Benavidez is a very dangerous fighter and I expect him to stop Uzcategui.

Everyone keeps writing Caleb Plant out of the narrative. Don’t be fooled by the shallow resume. Plant has a hell of a jab and is nice with his combos. If he can establish a good early lead on points and keep his stamina up with the lateral movement, he can pull it out. Dude has been through some serious trials and tribulations in his life, which builds heart, character and fortitude.

                No crack, just booze.

                Still, stranger things have happened.

Plant has a similar flaw to saunders in that he is a frontrunner, slows down quickly because he paces himself badly and then becomes a lot more hittable, because his defense is reliant on being fresh.

It won't look easy looking back because Canelo will probably lose rounds in this fight. like half the rounds will go to Plant and then he'll get broken down in the 8th-10th

It's going to take someone better than Plant to beat Canelo

Canelo wins this without breaking a sweat I just wonder where he goes after this
