Classic case of trying to prop up one fighter by bringing in another named fighter into the conversation. Bleacher report- if u don’t agree with the writer who seems to believe Gamboa was the 2nd coming of JCC Sr , then why even bring it up? One writers opinion- so freaking wat!!
When Loma fought Salido, he was 26 years old. When Tank fights Barrios, he'll be 26 years old. Loma was a 2-time Olympic Gold Medalist, and his amateur record was 396-1, and he avenged that loss x 2! Tank began his pro career at 19, straight from the streets of Baltimore! You are telling me that if Tank does not just move up 2 weight divisions, and KO a full-fledged, undefeated, Jr. WW, in his 1st fight in the division (not just win, has to be KO!), is "highly overrated!" However, you can't apply those same standards to Lomachenko! That's insane!

Loma was supposed to be the best fighter since Floyd Mayweather, even after he lost to Salido! That was who he was before a 23-yr. old kid kid from Brooklyn, with only 15 fights, snatched his belts! However, you don't rate him "highly overrated!" Tank MUST KO BARRIOS, or else he's "highly overrated!" Again, GTFOH!

gtfoh with that moving up 2 weight divisions…Davis already fought at 135 prior to the Lsc mismatch …so act like a knowledge boxing fan and don’t buy into the jumping 2 divisions BS!!! This from a guy who trying to tout Barrios’ 17 kos against tomato cans who are “pro fighters” - like that means something - many of whom have losing records as evidence of punching power! Lol! Who finally admitted Gamboa was not all that and not a power puncher after quoting some bleacher report writer “hyping” a young Gamboa and his high ko percentage at the time…Ur embarrassing urself Bro!! Thats why YOU brought Loma into the conversation….compare all u want if it makes u feel better since u cant stick to the initial subject. Stick with ur pick of unanimous decision…I will stick with most of the boxing world and predict a easy early mid-rd ko of the average 10th rated jww in the world. That smaller Russian nobody gave Barrios problems and some thought beat Barrios…how u think B-level Barrios(average power, speed, no head movement, slow footwork, fights straight up and down)is gonna go the distance with Davis is mind-boggling. Talk to ya after the fight Bro - dont hide! And btw - Loma with 2 losses is still in most p4p top ten…No Davis in top 10….might b level of competition faced - dont ya think??? And nice comparison with 23 yr old Teo with 15 fights beating Loma and previously kod Comney. 26 yr old Davis with 23 pro fights done ?? Beat up cans like Barrios - thats about it. Nice point!

Firstly let’s not ignore the elephant in the room. ‘Gervonta’ is a ridiculous name.

Secondly why is this dude so short. I’m being serious now. How does a man in 2021 living in the wealthiest nation in the world end up not much bigger than a dwarf.

Bad diet perhaps? Maybe he was brought up in a house with very low ceilings.

            Thoughts?

Everybody was hyping a "Young Gamboa!!!" Where the f--k were you? How old are you? 25-30? Probably! You calling Akhmedov a "Russian Nobody" proves your ignorance! Go check his pedigree! Your standards are all filled with hate! There's no way you can accept Loma losing to Salido, but can't accept Tank beating Barrios, and NOT winning by KO! In less than a year, Tank is fighting @ 130 and 140! I do not expect a KO! If it happens, it will be a beautiful thing!

cant except the Loma loss to Salido?? Didnt say anything of that nature. Who was hyping Gamboa? Arum..who was trying to “marinate” a fight with Juanma- who Salido ended up ko-ing twice! That was his “hype”. how u cant see an easy showcase probably highlite reel Davis ko like most is like i said mind-boggling. Stick to ur pick Bro we will see wat u got to say after the Davis ko.

i dont even get the comparison. salido was a good fighter. barrios is not. doesnt matter how old you are or how many fights you have fought. if you fight good opponents win or lose thats all we can ask for. when you dont do that we should question why you arent doing that. context also matters. this is a ppv fight. thats embarrassing.
