How am I celebrating? Don’t try to use that reverse psychology just because you’re mad it outsold Pacroid last two fights. Pacquiao is just not as relevant without Floyd. It’s called an exhibition for a reason silly kid. Inoki-Ali was 10 times worse than this fight yet boxing is still alive. How much money are you getting for crying in the comment section? Always an excuse. This ppv will easily sell more than Pacroid last two fights combined.
You boxing fans don’t even support the biggest boxing fights. You always complaining about PPV price while looking to watch fights on illegal streams. The target audience was whoever was willing to pay.
look atyou celebrating an exhibition between a rretired boxer vs a youtuber doing better than an actual boxing fight. Fvkcin idiot its people like you that ruin boxing. Bu but froid gots paid doe. How much of the money you getting? Loser

Because you purist/hardcore fans are broke. Always complaining about PPVs always complaining about PPV prices. Always looking to watch fights through illegal streams. Boxing has some of the most complaining/broke fans in all of sports.
How come PPV super stars like Tank and Spence and Wilder are only doing a quarter of those projected numbers? How come retired Tyson v retired RJJ can do 1.3 yet the current stars of the sport can’t do over 300k?
what’s going wrong with the current crop of super stars?Leave a comment:

The current crop have absolutely no personality or salesmanship about them and they dont appeal to the casual fan. If they built their name up and fought somebody else that built their name up they could possibly be successful but it requires being a near household name and they dont have that ability.Leave a comment:

I agree. Thats a fair enough assessment. I still blame Mayweather-pac for pretty much screwing up boxingLeave a comment:

I'm talking just in general. PPV has never been the market for hardcores. During Floyd/Pac peak in the latte 2000s and early 2000s, they were selling primarily off the backs of casuals.
Can you blame them for not buying? Especially with pbc putting every decent fight on ppv. Hell if Pacquiao didn't choose spencer then it would be spencer-ugas on ppv. Freakin ruiz-arreola, the charlo bros, tank. Too many ppvs and the quality of those matchups arent worth it.
Even if you go off of Canelo vs GGG fights. I'm willing to bet from all the posters posting on this site, less than 10% of them purchased those fights.Leave a comment:

Haven’t casual fans have always been the target audience for ppv events?
Floyd- whether it is thru social media, 24/7, or these exhibitions has continually found ways to engage and draw the casual fan.
why do you have a problem with that?
it seems you’d prefer him to go back to pretty big days where he failed to draw the casual fan.
Can you explain why?Leave a comment:
