Dumbass, the only reason the fight did good was cause of paul. Just like when froid fought McGregor. He fights guys with established fanbases so he can freeload off them. Look how nobody gave af when he fought the Japanese kickboxer fuvkcin idiot

you are aware that he’s literally the most watched ppv boxer in the history of the sport right? The guy sold over a mil ppvs against Robert Guerrero for gods sake. You can call Floyd a lot of things but saying he freeloads off other guys for views is ridiculous.

No it isn't. Its true. Would he have sold that many ppvs fighting anyone else? No. You morons act like everything he touches turns to gold. Did they even reveal the real number for the guerrero fight? He piggybacks off guys with big fanbases. If he was the great draw you people hype him up to be how come the berto fight didn't even draw 500k? Lol idiots

In fairness, 1M gullible fanatics does exist. Floyd’s marketing ploy still works even at this stage

I don’t hype anything up. You’re just sensitive and butt hurt for whatever reason. The facts speak for themselves, he’s literally sold
more ppvs than any other boxer in history. He was a part of 4 of the 5 highest ppv boxing events ever and 5 of the top 10. He was the A side for 4 of those 5 fights. You think that’s just because of who he fought and not because of him? Clown. As far as needing a strong B side, who hasn’t? Has mcgregor sold more numbers with anyone else than he did with Floyd? Has canelo sold more vs anyone than he did vs Floyd? How about Cotto? How about Pac? Did Ali generate the same interest for his fights vs joe bugner and Ron Lyle as he did against Frazier and Foreman? Did sugar Ray Leonard get the same interest fighting Donny lelonde or Kevin Howard as he did against hearns and hagler? Did Tyson vs Botha or seldon generate the same numbers as Tyson vs Holyfield or Lewis? I can make the same argument for every other star ever. Either you’re a dummy or you just don’t really follow boxing like that.

I am seeing 600k on other sites but that seems a little low to me.

I don’t know a single person who will admit to spending anything on it. 600k actually sounds high to me.

Doubt we will ever know the real numbers. Seems like real PPV numbers are getting harder to tally as of late. At $50 a pop, and networks, cable companies and internet providers getting more than half the take, it is not nearly as lucrative as the 3 million plus buys they first anticipated. Floyd told TMZ he would make over a $100 million on his fight. Nope!

Anyone know the live gate? Attendance looked abysmal.
