Who's REALLY freezing Terence Crawford out?

With Crawford the starting point is that his best potential opponents really don't want to fight him because they are liable to get beat. Big money might persuade them but that is not available because such fights would not pay enough or they are simply asking for unrealistic amounts. As Arum has found out. So the only fights he can get are with bums who will get some money and maybe a fluke win.

Now it's easy to blame Crawdaddy for his lack of publicity but what does it say about the modern fan that they react to publicity first and last, skill apparently doesn't come into it for a lot of them. Anyone with a bit of experience with this forum can see that.

Its TCs job to fight, it's Arum's job to get him the fights, its Bob Arum that's failed and he has thrown TC under the bus because of his own failure to promote.

But...Arum has failed to get Crawford a big fight.

Spence won the pony with a Pac fight.

Recent news speculates a Porter/Thurman rematch (not sure why, but eh) and possibly pairing Mikey against Ugas (strange stylistic match).

With Teo busy, Taylor busy, etc.

Meanwhile, even Mr. Gary Russell Jr. and Blair 'The Flair' Cobb stopped calling Crawford out.

Ennis made some chatter, but Crawford ignored him. Same with Ortiz.

Crawford is frozen out, but not by PBC.

The only one currently asking for Crawford is Hank Lundy for a rematch. That's a damn shame.
He's the favourite against them all too. Should have signed with Eddie Hearn. Eddie is a man that can seemingly do business with everyone.

Seems like a ridiculous excuse that "aww it's politics Arum won't work with Haymon or vice versa" if there's more money be made they will make a deal

Do tell what 147 fight Crawford had that convinced you he'd be a favorite.

            LOL

Listen man, his resume is dog****, an embarrassment to the sport of boxing, a disgrace....almost BUM-tier, but the boxer wins the majority of the time in big time fights. And Craw daddy has silky skills. He wouldn't be a huge favourite over Spence and Pacquiao but he would be a favourite none-the-less

Again, what fight at 147 showcased those skills?

Kavaliauskas, where he got two-pieced, wobbled and dropped?

Because by your standard ("wins the majority of the time in big time fights"), Sven Ottke is an ATG.

That same Eddie Hearn that couldn't make Khan vs Brook while promoting both? The same Eddie Hearn that couldn't make Joshua vs Wilder or Fury? The same Eddie Hearn that hasn't made a big fight for Haney? That same Eddie Hearn that hasn't made a big fight for Andrade? Eddie Hearn da best doe

Last time I listened to Bud he was saying he refuses to fight Spence. It's himself thats messing his **** up. He thinks he can dictate things like Floyd used to but he just isn't a big enough draw and apart from the Spence fight nobody is interested. There are fights I'd like to see him in but the Spence fight is what we have all been waiting for and if he ducks that then hell mend him he will lose all credibility. If Spence and Bud don't fight after the Pac fight then his legacy will have a gaping hole in it. imo of course lol

Beyonce screwed up the Fury vs Joshua fight and his own fight vs Joshua. Look at the UK fighters records. They weren't the ones swerving Klit and Povetkin and Dillian Whyte. Beyonce swerves fights not the other two. Khan straight coukd bear to lose to Brook, he was never going to take that fight. Haney is yung doe.

It isn’t Crawford’s fault Pacquiao demanded $40 million to fight him.

Because of that insane demand, everyone had to rely on financing from the Middle East.

He took half to fight Spence.
                      This makes sense to you?

Pac demanded $40M to fight Bud, but took $20M to fight Spence? You believe this?
You think Pac thinks Spence is a much easier fight, or Bud is so much of a bigger draw, double in fact, that he should earn twice as much to fight him?

Those numbers don't make sense to me in any way.

It seems pretty apparent Arum is having real trouble making decent fights unless the fighters themselves are doing most of the work, think Fury v Wilder, Loma taking less to get Teo over the line, josh taylor and jose ramirez.

Arum couldn't get a deal done with Bud and Pac, couldn't keep Teo happy, lost Fury Joshua because be screwed up the rematch. He talks middle east and asia but has delivered nothing. When it was time to get deals for the first undisputed HW in decades he came back with.... nothing.

Top Rank has the ESPN deal and some good fighters under contract, but lately as far as getting deals done it has been terrible, look how they have handled their 3 biggest assets, lost Fury the undisputed fight and probably $60M through incompetence, lost Teo via a purse bid even after trying to rig it, and can't get Bud a decent fight, let alone promote him in any meaningful way. Its not good.
