If he wasn’t such a freak he would have topped out at featherweight or 130 before he became a punching bag.

That being said, he’s now a natural welterweight. He’s in his 40s and not getting much lighter than that

He hasn't needed to make 140 in 12 years, brainlet.

In his prime campaigning at 147, pac usually weighed around 145.

Majority of fighters cut 10-15 lbs. for their fight.

So pac is a natural 135 or even 130 fighter.

most 147 guys usually weigh 157-162 fight night.

I remember when Castillo and Corrales was like 150-155 fight night when they were 135.

They were going to and decided against it, Algieri at 144 was a test so they said at the time, there is big difference in making a weight strong or to where it hurts you, if they could make 140 they could have played in both divisions he didn't because he can't make 140 without it hurting him.

Ten years ago it would have been a 135 lbs but as your body matures and ages it often fills out. So I would venture to say that his natural weight now is around a 140 lbs.

I would say 140 but then again he’s been a small welterweight for over a decade now and those few pounds make a difference. Just because he weighs in at 144-145 doesn’t mean he will automatically be effective at 140, especially at 42 years old

Mannys over 150 before he starts training, I think he was 153 shortly before the JMM fight.

The key as you said is being effective, not just making the scales, Im sure the top 135 guys would go to 140 to fight Manny, its Manny that won't go to them, even the Ryan Garcia thing was going to be at 147, not 140.

There is a narrative that Manny is a midget because of where he comes from but all that's irrelevant to where he is now, Roach has said many times how Manny has grown into a WW, with those last few pounds before 140, around 142 Manny would start feeling the weight cut, while the 135 guy packing on 5lbs would be as strong as bull, this has happened when he brought JMM up to him when he brought Algieri Rios Bradley etc all up from 140 they were strong he couldn't stop them, when bigger better guys were CWs brought down he destroyed them, its all about the weight and how you make it.

BS. He was weighing 145 fight night when he was at 130. Do you think he's the same size he was then? His heads 5lb bigger for starters.

147 is his natural weight. It’s just that most guys in boxing aren’t at their natural weight. But Pacquiao at his peak is about 144lb’s.
