At age 47, Bernard Hopkins fought above his natural weight and won a world title from someone who’s still ranked at 175… what’s Floyd’s excuse again?

Because you didn’t think it would happen.

Now that it did, you’re making excuses.

Age is not a valid excuse for Mayweather to lose rounds to Logan Paul.

Example: Bernard Hopkins won a world title at age 47.

Logan Paul isn’t even a professional athlete. Mayweather should have won every second of the fight.

    He didn’t.

    It was incredibly disappointing.

You can’t find a way out for him.

Ok and I can list you a plethora of examples of fighters younger than 40 looking terrible. I.e, fighters age differently.

You keep saying “fight”. It wasn’t a fight, that is a fact. You should stop saying that.

You’re putting massive stock into a 44 year old shot retired boxer having an exhibition match with a celebrity and “losing a round”, even though the rounds weren’t scored, because, it wasn’t a pro fight it was an exhibition.

It’s a spectacle event mostly aimed at kids, you can’t seem to grasp that it’s not a real fight and is literally totally meaningless.

You mean current WBO light heavyweight champion Joe Smith Jr.?

Lets equate him to Logan Paul!

How can you make a comparison between Paul and Smith and then call me uneducated.

      LOL

So it was a professional boxing match.

If it isn’t amateur boxing, it’s professional boxing.

Mayweather insisted it be called an “exhibition” because he didn’t want close scorecards read.

        How glorious.

You are aware they are not the same thing?

What made it not a professional fight, is the fact, yes fact, that it was not a sanctioned or licensed pro boxing match.

Which part of that don’t you seem to get?

I’m putting massive stock in it because it was the biggest boxing match of the year and Mayweather embarrassed the sport.

Hopkins was a true great who ducked no one and always fought and beat the best. fraud weather ducked his whole career and handpicked hired patsies. when it came down to fighting the best floyd didn't have the confidence. only a fraud coward pretender would call himself a coward.

Yes the guy who just won a vacant wbo title. Its still embarrassing, Joe smith was a part time plumber. Bernard said he would never get beat by a white boy and then got ktfo and had his career ended by one. Absolutely Nothing more embarrassing than that!! LOL It’s going to be hard for him to respond when he hears his grandchildren.

“Grandpa remember when that white boy knocked you out the ring”

fighters, especially those who rely heavily on timing, need to be active. Mayweather retired in 2015. How ****** are some of you guys?

What’s Floyd Mayweather’s excuse for losing rounds to Logan Paul again?

It can’t be size or age. Hopkins overcame both to win a world title against a boxer who’s still competitive today.
                      Ok, two things:

                      1. Hopkins went up 15 lbs. Logan Paul was able to weigh in 30 lbs heavier, and there was a 35 lb. difference at the weigh-in

                      2. There were no official rounds to win or lose because it was an exhibition with no judges
