Great news. First fight was excellent. I think Porter takes the rematch though.

I have some bad news for you.......................Lol, actually it probably won't be PPV. June/July/August is all taken up for the PBC with PPVs and if they air the Canelo/Plant fight in September? Then that month is gone. Spence will likely fight again and if he beats Pacquiao, he's definitely fighting on PPV again. Ruiz vs Ortiz if it happens will be on PPV as well. So yeah, I think that fight headlines FOX or SHO.

Crawford should fight Ugas next. Probably the only good option left.

Porter could fight Ennis, Thurman could fight Abdukakarot or w/e his name is as examples. PBC has a roster, they should use it.

One fighter lost to an old man and the other lost to an alcoholic.

            Who cares?

It would be a shame if he and Spence never fight.

It’s looking like Jermell will be undisputed at 154 this year. He might consider a move to 154 to try and accomplish undisputed in two weight classes?

I think his contract with Arum expires in October. It will be interesting to see who he signs with.

I mean he needs to be undisputed at 147 before moving up to 154. Spence said if he beats Pacquiao, he's going for the Crawford fight. This was supposed to be the plan in 2020 before the accident/pandemic. There's a lot of money in that match up, more than people think. It will happen.

I'm still just baffled how TR never really considered the Porter fight. Was the perfect fight for Crawford.

With the constant layoffs, jumping in there again with a rough houser like Porter should be really good. Comfortable pick for Porter.

You know, I started watching Thurman fights recently and scoring them and despite the fact that he REALLY fights back on the backfoot frequently (this is actually how the general public think Mayweather fights in all his fights), Thurman has enough pop to keep guys from charging in headfirst into him. He might not be the "One Time" knockout artist he was when he was starting out, but he buckles the knees of everyone he fights surprisingly.

Fighting Porter is like fighting Provodnikov; you don't leave the ring unscathed. I think Porter touching that body would give him a definitive edge over an inactive defensively-minded Thurman. I respect Thurman, he's a frugal individual who sees boxing as it should be, something to make money and get out as soon as you can, but I don't necessarily like him.

Should be fun if this materializes. Thurman's going to take another loss.

And if Ugas stays as the WBA champion? Perfect for Crawford to go and grab another belt and this way he would have two and Spence would have two if he beats Pacquiao. Now, if they reinstate Pacquiao as the super champ? I'd still like to see that fight. They have amateur history and Ugas is a quality fighter. I think Crawford does well in that fight though and beats Ugas up in the later rounds. Make it happen!

I mean the thread is about him being in discussions to fight Thurman?

I'd actually love to see Porter vs Ennis. No one has an easy time with Porter and I suspect Ennis would have some rough moments but he has the ability to go to another level in that fight. It would be great for his future potential match ups vs Spence and/or Crawford.
