Shawn Porter vs Keith Thurman Rematch Being Discussed for the Fall

I'm going to be upset for a while that we aren't getting the Crawford/Porter fight, but I'll gladly take this rematch. This time around I expect Porter to get his hand raised in another competitive fight.

This does open up the possibility of Crawford vs Ugas though. Hopefully TR tries to make that fight happen.

    - -Porter picked Manny over Keef who never wants to see Manny again. Better to get beat up by Porter...

Is Ugas keeping his gifted title? Or does it go back to Manny? One of them should be fighting Ugas if he is still considered the WBA champion.

That my friend no one knows lol. I guess if they make Pacquiao the super champion again, there is less appeal to fight Ugas, but he is still a quality fighter.

Who else does Crawford fight then if it won't be Ortiz, Spence, Pacquiao, Thurman or Porter?

Good question. Crawford is painted into a corner. I think he might be targeting Josh Taylor, but he would have to move down or fight at a catchweight for Taylor to consider it. Not sure if Mikey has any interest in a shot at Bud’s title.

Taylor is fighting his mandatory next.

Mikey is still available and I guess Danny as well. Though the latter has talked about now moving up to 154.

Maybe he just sits out and fights Spence if he beats Pacquiao later in the year?
