I favor Spence on this one, that strength, physicallity and that stiff long jab will be the key on winning this one, however I don't see a stoppage, I haven't seen Spence stop top guys since he upped the competition and while Pac is 40+ years old he still is a fighter which brings tons experience, andkwardness, speed and power to te table.

It will be a fun fight, the one I'm most expecting alongside Alvarez-Plant, Fury-Wilder III, Charlo-Castaņo, Loma-Nakatani, and got mixed feelings about the Tank fight, i'll watch that one too, just not that exited about it.

Since you used the triangle theory, let’s do that again, Spence is bigger and stronger than Marquez.
PAC is getting KO’d by the 8th round.
Respect to PAC for taking on Spence though.

Also I bet you didn't know Oscar made the terms for the fight with Pac, he was the A side and also he was favored to win. Amazing what you brain is capable of if you exercise its cognitive functions.

No one is saying this is a cherry pick. Spence is a big undefeated, powerful and legit WW belt holder. Manny is incredibly brave to take on Spence.
That said, Manny did pick Brandon Rios, Broner, Mathysse, Mosley, Margarito when they were coming off losses. There were better fights that he could have made.

Spence should win this fight and by stoppage, still I'm pulling for Pacquaio. Even if Manny pulls off the upset I believe he intends this fight to be his last.

Manny at 43 still giving you solid fights and you here ranting like someone who just got jilted instead of appreciating even if he does get KTFO like you said. He could be out here fighting youtubers as well doing legal bank robbery like the other guy but his conscience and his responsibility to the fans won't let him do it. Pac is a rare breed By the way, hate to break it to you, he ain't getting KO'ed either. Spence is the favorite but he's got a hell of fight on his hand even with a Manny that is 43 years old.
That's an overstatement. Three of the greats that were never knocked out, not even close, are Marciano, Mayweather and Calzaghe and a little more research would be bound to turn out others.

hes the catchweight king....fought about 10 fights at catchweights including making Oscar fight at 147 fir first time in 10 years and fighting Margarito at a catch weight, for a vacant title while margarito wasn’t even ranked and then yells “8 div champ” LOL
While in hindsight Oscar shouldn't have fought at 147 in 2008, that was NOT a catchweight. That's an actual welterweight limit. The Cotto fight was at a catchweight of 145, the Margarito fight was at a catchweight of 150.

I wouldn't call Manny Pacquiao a cherrypicker, that's a massive stretch. I can't think of ANY other fighter with a more impressive line-up that he went through between mid 2008 to late 2012.

Diaz-De la Hoya-Hatton-Cotto-Clottey-Margarito-Mosley-Marquez III-Bradley-Marquez IV...the first four of those got LIT UP. The following two got practically shut out in Arlington.

It wasn't just the fact that he fought all of them, he beat them all...one after the other...and in that first half of fighters perhaps lost at most 6 rounds.

The strikes I would make against Manny is that he fought Cotto at 145 but then let Clottey fight comfortably at 147 a mere four months later. Cotto would've still lost, but that itty bitty detail irks me a little. The Margarito fight bothers me a little because they bent over backwards to make Pacquiao an eight division world champion by beating Margarito who was previously unranked at a weight class of 150, which is closer to 147 than 154.

But overall, it's grasping at straws. Because most people in their right mind would've picked Pacquiao against anybody from 135-147 in those years.

In regards to this topic, Pacquiao beat Thurman, but I think Thurman's lost an edge and I was never high on him to be honest. Pacquiao is still good enough I think to be a top 10 fighter but I believe Spence will outwork him late in the fight. I think Roach and Pacquiao believe there's something there to be exploited after the car accident but the Garcia fight dispelled that.

It's insane for Pacquiao to be going after Spence. This will be the first PPV I'm going to be ordering since...I can't even remember. This will either be Pacquiao's last hurrah before he bows out in grace, or Spence does to Pacquiao what Pacquiao did to De la Hoya. I'm intrigued.

It sounds to me that Spence just wants to ensure an even playing field that's all. There's nothing wrong with that. Pacquiao would gladly oblige him because he has nothing to hide.

actually - Rios was the ONLY one u mentioned coming off a loss. Margo and Mathysse were coming off W’s…Mosley/Broner coming off Draws.

Lol...see you can SAY THAT all you like but the reality is that Spence DOES NOT have the one punch capability that you saw in that Marquez fight....and lets be real here...Marquez looked stronger physically than he ever had in ANY BOUT before that.....lets use our brains here now..lol

Margarito had been knocked out by Mosley and Mosley had just been beaten pillar to post by Mayweather.
