Fighters age differently so it’s irrelevant, Floyd at 44 is 4 years retired and shot to pieces.

He had an exhibition match, where it literally a meaningless move around, the equivalent of a spar.

Mayweather threw nothing in the first couple of rounds. Paul's height and reach makes him harder to hit from the outside too. Mayweather could only get to him when inside and he was held every time. Paul fought to survive and he achieved it.

Training for 3 years and he's still "unexperienced". He did close the gap and then got held by the much bigger man whom had no interest in even trying to win.
