Eddie is right Floyd looked not terrible he still had some brilliance but definitely time has caught up and Floyd is past it. he could still mount a decent fight with anyone his size if he trained properly for it but I don't think his body could stand up to his level of training so its probably the last we will see him box, he earned a billion dollars over his last 10 fights not too shabby I feel.

Honestly, I think this forum is just the pits now, I can't believe the BS coming out from a bunch of children, a great fighter at 44 boxing a giant got old so what, it happens to every single fighter that keeps boxing, it happens to them ALL if they continue to fight when their mojo is gone.

This place is not even a boxing forum anymore its a toxic waste dump.

It’s managed to get boxing drug through the gutter yet again. I was hoping Floyd would just batter the kid but he’s got absolutely nothing left. I’m pretty sure more than a few of us on here could last eight rounds with Floyd at this point. Even the re-coked up Oscar may put him away. Oscar should chase the **** out of that rematch. Floyd should be about the last guy to be so shot at his age. He hardly took any clean shots in 50 fights, always stayed in shape in between fights, and won on his boxing IQ even as his reflexes slowed with age. Look at how old Hopkins was and still competitive. Similar thing but Bernard would never allow himself to look like a novice against a guy with a 0-1 record.

They lose it first lol , because with fighters like Floyd their entire game is about speed and reflex, as you age these are the first things you lose and also your balance and coordination follow quickly behind.

Floyd never looked like a novice what a dumb-ass comment, he looked like a shot little guy against a giant, the guy survived because he was way too big for him, Floyd was never a KO puncher above 130lbs with 130 pounders, yet a 44 yr old version all of a sudden is going to KO a fit HW, the entire stoppage premise revolved around Logan gassing in around or two, he trained his ass of and then the size would just absorb anything Floyd could land solid.

You guys really need to box because you just cannot see whats in front of your face you are so far into hype that reality has no room to exist.

It's a bad look for the sport, says the man who gave us KSI vs Logan Paul.

Tell Hearn those close to him, that’s some gay ass **** to say about a 44 year old grandfather who fought a guy maybe 45-50 pounds bigger. Hearn let’s see you fight my wife gay MF’er!

I look at Floyd more like Hopkins as he aged and less like Roy. Once Roy lost the reflexes it was over. Floyd fought for years with an adjusted style that worked for him as he aged and slowed. He could out think an opponent. If you thought Floyd, especially in the last years of his career was still blistering fast like a young Pretty Boy I’d respectfully disagree. Money took away your best weapons and counter punched whatever you threw. He thought faster and better than his opponents could. Pretty Boy just ****ed guys up with talent. Floyd showed that he is absolutely not the style of fighter that slides first. You’re just dead wrong on that one.

It's always funny seeing the mis-matchroom morons being offended when someone insults Eddie. The way they run to Eddie's defence.

Speed and reflex is the first to slide its not a on-off button, when you have extraordinary speed and reflex it's not so apparent over years because we are not measuring it like how a runner can lose 1/10th seconds and it shows if you look at Floyd at 130 he is a lot different than 147, what I'm saying is when there done its done, its an individual time that has nothing to do with could shoulda based on what somebody else did, there are many things you stand alone in life.

Speed-reflex is first to leave and last is strength and power.

Hopkins got thrown out of the ring and bashed, Floyd never went out like that Floyd couldn't KO a 50lb bigger guy at a passed it 44, he still boxed his ears off, and honestly you can not compare Hopkins to Floyd because of the styles and weights, higher weights fighters age slower because the speed element is not as crucial as it is for small fighters.

But anyway I don't even know what you're trying to say, I just seen an ATG fighter show that he is past it now and should hang them for good its no big deal and the use-by date will happen to all of them if they keep boxing.
