I didn’t see Inoki put on boxing gloves and outbox Ali for a round or two.
But maybe I missed it.Comment

With who now?
I mean ****, I ain't even a particular fan of Floyd and I ain't watched this or any of his other 'exhibition' fights, nor did I watch Roy vs Mike, but I genuinely can't comprehend all this nonsense about tarnishing legacies or 'ruining the sport'. Exhibitions and circus show shet has been around as long as the sport itself and besides it ain't like anything that individual boxers can do is worse than the wholesale corruption and confusion foisted on us by the governing bodies and sanctioning orgs every damn week.
Dudes get a chance to make some extra money fooling the punters into paying for rubbish like that good for them I guess, way I see it the more eyes on boxing the better, even if it is joke fights. If even 2% of those tubers (capitalise to taste) tune in to a regular boxing match or lace up and get their asses to a gym on the back of this then it's a W far as I'm concerned.Comment

A few years ago when Floyd fought Conor McGregor in a boxing match, Floyd fans dragged up Ali-Inoki to defend Floyd. Which was a dumb comparison, since Ali fought Inoki in a mixed-ruled proto-MMA match, not a boxing match like Floyd-Conor.
Now that Floyd has gone even lower by fighting a YouTuber in a boxing match, Floyd fans are once again dragging up Ali-Inoki to defend Floyd. Which is again a dumb comparison, since Inoki is an ATG wrestler and MMA pioneer, not a 0-1 bum like Logan.
These Floyd fans are so predictable, using the same excuses every time to justify Floyd's ****ty exhibition fights.

No one is using Ali inoki to defend Floyd. We’re bringing that up in response to the idiots that are proclaiming this event damaged or disrespected the sport or Floyd’s legacy or career was impacted by exhibitions.A few years ago when Floyd fought Conor McGregor in a boxing match, Floyd fans dragged up Ali-Inoki to defend Floyd. what is dumb is people getting in their feelings because Floyd created a revenue stream the guys they like haven’t been able to because they haven’t achieved what Floyd did in the ring.
