I'm not sure if it was about pure idolism..but based on that videos and photos it looks like pac was his all time hero.

Edit: possibly a floyd's revenge for getting beaten by morales in sparring.

I believe I saw somewhere a long time ago where Floyd was extremely complimentary of Pacquiao and even went as far as saying that he (Pacquiao) was one of his favorite fighters to watch. Him saying that of course was waaaayyyyy before they were ever linked to one another as possible opponents for each other.
