Cotto has to make sure his punches count and land, it doesn't matter if he punches harder than any opponent Manny has fought if he can't land them on Manny. This is coming from a fan of both fighters, but Zab Judah is no Manny Pacquiao when it comes to footwork. In Mannys last couple of fights he has been showing alot of footwork to avoid punches.

Better but at which weightclass? SFW, LW, LWW at most. Miguel is a pure WW. That will make a difference. Miguel is a jaguar, Pacquiao is a cheetah.

miguel might be a true ww but he also doesn't have some of the advantages that other welters would have against pacquiao.

miguel doesn't have a height or reach advantage over pacquiao that most ww would have.

miguel could possibly be the ONLY welterweight pacquiao could beat.

Not true, I'd bet my life that Pacquiao could knock Berto out in the early rounds. And if I thought more about it, I'm sure theirs other fighters he could beat at WW.

Why, is Berto that bad??

Berto looks strong. I don't think so. And Cotto may not have a big height/reach advantage but he's naturally stronger and bigger built than the tiny Pacquiao.

maybe but i'm not sure.

berto also isn't one of the bigger welters either so manny would have a better chance against him than the 5'10 , 5'11 guys like marg.
