Lol they were giving Oscar winning performances then. They both took a lot of damage and held on for Dear life and Ortiz put it on Wilder, was clearly trying to take his ass out.

    Sounds like bull**** tbh lad

apollo creed was trying to take out rocky too.

there is no chance haymon would risk letting the key asset of his empire's existence to lose to a 48 yr old non draw cuban or a fat zero draw 39 yr old haitian. you should know that.

Lol I guess but the way they do this is put their cash cow in with guys that they are like 80% favourite over and then stack the judges and ref in the cash cow's favour.

They can't just pay efer single guy to take a dive. How do you explain Ortiz beating Beyonce around the ring in their first fight?

        • Anyone who fights at professional level with a string of KOs is no bum.

I detest the word bum in boxing.
It's become a part of boxing vernacular among fans now, just label anyone you don't like a "bum". Even Journeymen can't be called bums. I wouldn't even call someone with two left feet a bum. Call someone boring or reckless, fine, but bum is such a loaded and ugly word to apply to anyone who risks their life to entertain you.

And for some reason it always goes beyond mere dislike in boxing - it's malicious and spiteful, and they always need to share it with everyone else, especially with that fighters fans because how dare they like a fighter you consider a "bum". Get over yourselves. Get a ****ing life.

            • As much as I like to **** on Wilder, hes not quite THAT bad. I mean the Ortiz wins were decent, he did drop Fury twice, guys like Stiverne, Breazele and Liakovich are C level but taking them out in the opening round is still pretty impressive. Wins over Duhaupas, Arreola, Molina, Washington, Szpilka are...okayish.

He dropped Fury that wasn't prepared and was a big fat useless mess coming back from 3 years of coke snorting and pie eating lol. We all saw what happened when he fought a Fury that was near peak- total destruction.

And Ortiz? Jesus christ man he's 50 years old.

It's about his total lack of technique and the guys he didn't fight. Who was his best win 35 fights into his career? Lol

                Total bum
