JMM is going to get the victory over Mayweather. That economical offense that Floyd uses isn't going to work against a guy this determined to win. Hatton had determination too, but JMM doesn't lead with his chin like that.

1.Nobody has knocked out JMM besides Ricky Hatton leading with his chin, Floyd has not knocked anyone out since Sharmba Mitchell in November 2005. I'm not seeing a knockout from Mayweather in this one his hands are too brittle and as you know JMM keeps popping up.PBF He is going to look for a knockout but this is where he is messing up.

2.JMM won't fade down the stretch like Oscar De La Hoya did he is a man on a mission has more motovation than PBF

      3. SPEED, COUNTERPUNCHING AND PATIENCE will be key for JMM to get a win if you believe JMM is going to be slow than what do u call the wars w PACMAN he kept up with him . I truly hope PBF is thinking he is fighting another BALDOMIR OR HATTON he will be surprised "Victory at all costs, victory in spite of all terror, victory however long and hard the road may be; for without victory there is no survival." WAR DINAMITA
good post but im not sure marquez should try to outthink mayweather....marquez is going against the odds but he seems very very motivated....

Yeah! I would also like to see jmm teach mayweather a lesson or two. And complete the pac-jmm trilogy!

Marquez is training really hard for this fight cause he knows that this fight could define his career he is not taking mayweather likely so mayweather better do the same cause Marquez is here to win

To be fair, what style does Floyd use when faced with a fighter his own size or smaller? Please advise.

You mean weak opponents with no punch like Brusseles and Mitchell? Gatti had power, but not the skill to go along with it to be competitive with Floyd. Corley and Zab have no killer instinct against elite opponents.

Good to know that Marquez is going to be 100%, unfortunately Floyds always going to be that 10% better.

Marquez has more to gain, Mayweather has more to lose.

                    Iceta,

In the interest of fairness and context, since I've been watching Floyd fight, i have noticed that he is pretty aggressive with the fighters that are his size (or perceived to be): Chicanito, Hatton, Manfredy, Chavez, Corley, Gatti, Zab, Sharmba, etc. He goes inside or moves forward on those guys.

He fights a more defensive or movement-oriented style when faced with a height or reach disadvantage: Corrales, Oscar, Baldomir.

That's a broad observation. Have you seen it differently?

Side note: Careful about defaming Zab and Sharmba too much. Who were kostya Tszyu's best wins?

Tszyu was good, but I think he gets overrated a lot. I think him and Cotto would've been a good fight.
