Does this mean that all the Matchroom Euro-Bums are going to be forced on us on DAZN? I think this might be awful, I dont want to see no English-Bums every week, replacing world-level contest.

Are you talking about what is shown in America? This doesn’t really have any impact to America as they already showed the sky matchroom cards previously.Comment

breaking the uk first was always going to be a challenge, doing the way they did they also were able to form a partnership with sky and share shows which was mutually beneficial. Now they have formed the relationship with matchroom the decision to move away from sky has been made, this was probably not viable previously.
In regards to ppv , let’s wait and see. We will truly find out when Joshua fights next where is lands, I expect the deal with dazn includes at least his first fight as they will want him to draw subscribers. At what point will dazn increase subscription prices though - I imagine if Joshua fights soon they may do it after his first fight..Comment

Guess it just feels like they put on more cards than that, still thought it would have risen under DAZN, but I guess they'll put more money into quality and then truly focus on this global outreach, which I'm cool withComment

I only recall seeing a few local English-Bum when Anthony Joshua fought, or when another top tier UK draw had a big fight at world level. I hope Eddie Hearn does not put those Euro-Bums on DAZN U.S.A, were else is he going to showcase the Josh Kelly's the Conor Bens?Comment

I can imagine some uk fighters fighting early on the card in America (if based east coast) because that means it’s in late at night rather than the morning in the UK. Equally I expect American fighters to fight in the uk cards.Comment

I don’t think it would affect much. At the end of the day MTK are primarily a management company and going to keep the fight is on the biggest cards possible, which means Eddie and Warren in the UK. They put a few of their own events on but it’s usually lower level fighters who are needing to get out and fight.Comment

They announced it is staying at £2 a month until the end of August, They are running that fight camp in July and August. So the first three cards during that month will be at that price point at least. I’m sure it will go up after that though.Comment
