Ryan signed a 5 year contract with Golden Boy in 2019. If you want to get conspiratorial, one theory is he pulled out of the high risk low reward Fortuna fight because someone whispered in his ear about a huge multifight deal with Triller once GB's deal expires with DAZN at years end.

Oscar better be careful with Ryan, he has massive upside and is under Canelo's wing, and from what Canelo has said Oscar isn't really all that involved in the day to day of GBP. Its starting to seem like he is more of a hinderance than a help, getting into social media beefs with one of your biggest names right after loosing the biggest name, what is the point of that?
