100%. Great post. Except Ryan never beats Haney; bad style matchup for him.

Bottom line: Only people from the lowest backgrounds enter boxing and few succeed. Boxing is the hardest path in all of sport. I'd say Ryan retires but problem is Ryan wants to be famous. He's a model and all that, but he's only interesting if he's an active boxer. LA has a lot of dudes that are hotter and have more personality than him. If Ryan doesn't fight, nobody will care.

I like that style matchup for Garcia. Garcia will do well against boxers, there’s a reason GB matched him up with Campbell. Garcia is lethal from the outside and is a very legit puncher. Garcia would have more trouble against a physical inside fighter who will rough him up and loop punches over the top.

It’s easy to be so annoyed by Garcia we shortchange his abilities.

I think after Haney-Linares, GB now wants to make that fight and probably does.

No matter what scary ass Haney said the fact is he will get dropped when he faces any of the “real” champions or top fighters because let’s be honest, he got hurt and saved by the bell from getting KO in the 10th by an old and slower Linares and it took Haney 2 rounds to get his legs back,,,Ryan Garcia got dropped by Campbell and it took Garcia 6-7 seconds to have his legs back,and if you want to compare Linares with garcia just check who KO campbell
