A lot of these guy’s are casuals. They read a title and spout off. GBP likely stopped that fight. Pacquiao is ON VIDEO saying he was negotiating a Ryan Garcia fight, Pacquiao’s Matchmaker (Sean Gibbons) has confirmed multiple times they were negotiating that fight and recently mentioned again they wanted that fight for Pacquiao. Oscar just lied because he didn’t want Ryan fighting Pacquiao. And of course with that Ryan left Davis off the hook, so now the fanboys act like Ryan made up a Pacquiao fight to duck Davis while Davis runs off to do w/e the *** he’s been doing with his career, skirting around divisions picking cherries around real challenges.

I think if they are holding on for life it should count as a knockdown. If the ropes keep you up it is so why not when they hold their opponent to stay up? The guy held for 2 whole rounds after getting buzzed at the end of the 10th. That running across to full blown hug in the 12th is just pathetic. I wish Linares side stepped but put his foot out to trip the afrocentric bigot as he bum rushed that hug.

Look, I don’t think Ryan Garcia is making up having anxiety and depression, but a couple points here:

          - I’ve competed in boxing myself, and the amount of anxiety anyone has before going into a bout is insane. Every goes through it. You have to have actually competed to know. At what point does it become clinical anxiety and at what point is pulling out acceptable? Tough to say, but it’s generally understood that it’s part of the sport and you’re expected to get in there.

          - Even though he may have these mental health issues, it’s strange how they appear to be exacerbated when he is faced with a high risk low money reward fight, and then they go away when the fight goes away. It was similar with Fury, because the second Klitschko fight was very high risk/low reward.

I think Ryan Garcia probably fights Haney next now that Haney has looked vulnerable. Garcia probably wins I hate to say it. And then we have some sort of early retirement announcement to avoid any mandatories, but a big
money comeback fight when it comes up and is winnable.

Or maybe a DQ when it gets to a certain point....

Imagine Davis or Haney doing this......
Davis did cry on Twitter when Floyd said he was going to make the Lomachenko fight by saying "You're just trying to get me beat".

Haney does seem to want these fights though. He's the only one at the weight not to contradict himself and try to justify not fighting the others.

yes if they are excessively holding because they are hurt, a point should be deducted. lol at calling Haney afrocentric. what else should be? everyone should be proud of what they are. I'm Puerto Rican and Polish and am definitely proud of both.

That shot in the mouth gave Ryan religion. He thought he could walk through a blizzard of punches to land his bombs. His front teeth will probably fall out from that mistake. I don't think much of either Haney or Ryan, but Ryan should learn to move his head, if he's worried about his looks.

Golden Boy made chess moves at Lightweight with the WBC.

Linares jumped Fortuna in the queue for a WBC title shot by promising Fortuna a Garcia fight; then, Garcia drops out citing mental health issues (not implying that it’s fake) and he’ll get an immediate shot when he’s ready, meanwhile, Jojo Diaz has an interim WBC title shot against Fortuna.

Haney respected his ordeal and thought there was a ceasefire; Garcia made it clear that there wasn’t. Hopefully, Garcia gets well soon to rejoin a very good crop of young lightweights.

So at the end of the day Haney got no room to be talking ****! You can rest assure if Linaras would of caught Haney 30 sec before the bell and not at the end of the 10th! Linaras would of finished Haney!!! FACTS are FACTS!!!
I think you really need to look up the definition of what a fact actually is. Because this most certainly isn't it.
