Woodley has big power and can punch (for a MMA guy) and has KOs on his record

Wonder what excuse MMA fans will use after Jake decapitates another one of their champions

Tyron Woodley is gun shy and can't pull the trigger. Jake Paul will probably knock him out . Not a Jake Paul fan but I can't stand Woodley. His rapping is atrocious and comical. He also supports the afrocentric domestic ********* organization ***. Easy to root against Woodley.

How could someone be the face of boxing who is not professional boxer?

An Olympian maybe winning gold maybe.

          I don't get it.

UFC welterweight is what? 156-170? Still looking at undersized opponents I see.

39-year-old 5'7 UFC welterweight. Another strategic cherry-pick from the team.

Every one of his fights is at 191 lbs. JP catchweight. Perhaps fight a full-grown man if you want to be the "face of boxing"

19-7 record and at least he can punch allegedly, so that's a step up?

            Infinite cringe etc.

Because boxing is a fringe sport and most boxers wouldn't be recognised on the street.

170 but he probably walks around close to 200 & heavily set.

He is explosive, fast-twitch with not much outside of an overhand right but he does pack some power and the MMA community for whatever reason hold him in fairly regard as far as boxing ability goes.

He's been dominated in his last 4 but those were all to elite grapplers.

Its definitely a big step up and way greater risk than a Ben Askren. This is a bad look for MMA if Woodley losses.
