I really want Jake Paul’s run of KOing MMA fighters to continue! Does Tyron still fight for UFC?

39-year-old 5'7 UFC welterweight. Another strategic cherry-pick from the team.

Every one of his fights is at 191 lbs. JP catchweight. Perhaps fight a full-grown man if you want to be the "face of boxing"

19-7 record and at least he can punch allegedly, so that's a step up?

        Infinite cringe etc.
5'9" 170 lbs bruh. The MMA guys shrink down man. He's at least 200. Definite step up from Askren, yes.

So why is it on a professional boxing blog?

He's been dominated in his last 4 but those were all to elite grapplers.

Its definitely a big step up and way greater risk than a Ben Askren. This is a bad look for MMA if Woodley losses.
I mean honestly even if it's a 25/75 calculated type risk. That would be a decent step up in terms of t his clown show-type progression. It' just the overwhelming size advantage is always there. If this fella gets the slept or TKO treatment then the logical next progression would be fighting a light heavyweight UFC guy who isn't adept at striking. Then assuming that is successful maybe a bottom of the rung cruiserweight pro boxer?

              1. This isn't a blog, this is a forum sir.
              2. Jake Paul is a pro boxer and Woodly gonne get that smoke.
              Any other questions?

Just roll with it and make money betting on him.
Hes been around 1.4 - 1.5 for every single fight when those fights should have been 1.07.

That's a good point. I fell into the Floyd trap and hate bet against him in the Robinson fight despite barely knowing anything about it. Obviously, I got served up there but was just peanuts to make the waiting more entertaining for the Tyson Jones ultimate hug battle.

Yeah his awful personality and hate that he gets definitely makes people bet against him lol. Was hilarious how reddit folks backed askren.

But the size factor alone is too big for non boxers to overcome. And tbh he isnt an awful boxer for how long he boxed.
