Crawford and his manager/trainer never wanted any part of Pacquiao, for example. I remember when Bomac was asked right around the Dierry Jean fight about any potential fight between Bud and Pac. Oh man, he went berserk and spouted all kinds of invectives.

And then there was Arum who was like a long lost grandpa to Crawford. The Bobfather could have pit him against Matthysse, Jessie Vargas, Pacquiao. He didn't. He protected Crawford like he's his own grandson.

Arum was also on video just a few days ago that Crawford vs Pac could have happen in Vegas, but he didn't want to risk it. Whatever that means.
