Yeah, so what? This was after Joshua had already fought Povetkin and Fury decided to step up and fight Wilder 50/50. Joshua offered a flat fee, just like he did with Ruiz in both fights. Ruiz was desperate for the first fight so he accepted, but he realized in the rematch that Joshua was making over 5 times more than him even though Ruiz beat him. Hearn made a $40 million site fee in Saudi Arabia, 4 times more than Ruiz.

Now do you understand why Joshua hasn't fought the top guys? Always a flat fee so that he and Hearn clean up. The Fury fight was going to be the first time since Klitschko that it was a fair deal...

Good stuff helps sell the fight. I don't doubt that Wilder wanted to destroy Fury but of course easier said than done. Fight should be a barn burner for as long as it lasts.

Not surprising Wilders talking like that, it’s been his silly MO from ever since. Only this time, I think he’s a little more serious, especially after Fury let loose his A1 cheating game under the guise of infusing a melodramatic KRONK strategy to up his game.

In their last fight, Fury was a relentless and cruel version of a mentally unstable pigeon. Once his fan-girls ignored anything potentially deceptive(?) Fury knew he could run without them catching on to his Joshua escape route.

Wilder hasn't blocked anything.

Fury was out of the sport. A bit of a side show. He needed a quick and easy way to make himself relevant and to be able to proclaim himself as the Gypsy King again.

He's had 2 attempts to beat beat Fury and failed both times, yes he has the attributes to win, a great jab, fast hands and a devastating right hand but he has no boxing IQ, he will revert back to what he knows when the pressure is put on him and he has a 6'9" 19st man with a great boxing brain, laying all over him, wrestling him, draining his strength and clumping him.

The wrong sized shoe, the ring was slippy, the fans were too small, the ref wanted Fury to win, the temperature was too cold, I wore the wrong shorts, my fingernails were too short, I hadn't recovered from surgery, it was a fast count, he elbowed me, I forgot to thank God before the fight, I had my pre-fight meal three minutes too late. Boxers need to learn how to take an L, as the excuses are just embarrassing, but their idiot fan base always buys it as well.
