Honestly Floyd's already been embarrassed with the hat incident. I don't even expect Logan Paul to fight seriously, he's just going to clown and showboat in front of the crowd. He probably knows that he's got no real chance to win the fight but also that Floyd's too small to actually hurt him, and he's getting paid either way so he's just going to go out there and play the jester as has been his MO as one of the most hated tools on the internet. The only thing Floyd's getting out of this is more money, which surely at this point he doesn't even need if he's not literally throwing money in the garbage on a daily basis. He's definitely not getting anybody's respect. With every circus fight he takes part in the memory of his incredible career grows just a little bit dimmer.

Boxing is getting weird with this kind of stuff. I have a feeling the big guy will get the SHT beat out of him. He won't touch Mayweather with a big punch.

As far as I'm concerned, Mayweather's legacy was ruined once he signed to fight Conor McGregor. Floyd should have fought a ranked opponent for #50, and then if he wanted "fight" McGregor. Since he didn't, his 50-0 record is meaningless to me.

50-0 has always been meaningless. Its not a record.

Its a asian with a better record than that right now and you don't even know his name

"Its a asian with a better record than that right now and you don't even know his name." No, I don't know his name, but unlike you, I would not have used the possessive pronoun its when I meant to say it's (contraction of it is), or have forgotten to capitalize Asian, or to have used the article a instead of an when preceding a word beginning with a vowel. I do agree with you that 50-0 is no record, and that if it were any other boxer but Floyd, it would not have been nearly as big an issue.

his legacy is taking a hit with these freak show fights whether his fanboys like it or not. he looks absolutely ridiculous fighting youtubers whilst youve got pacquiao fighting spence and thurman. the worst thing is he couldnt even bring himself to fight the better paul brother, he had to fight the one with a losing record. He looked like a sad old man when jake paul stole his hat, the next generation are laughing at him, hes turned into a laughing stock. Mayweather will do anything for attention and thats why hes involved in these fights, its nothing to do with money.

This should really have no impact on his legacy as a pro boxer. He is retired now and in his mid 40s, his legacy (whatever you may think it is) is sealed and complete.

This should have no more of an impact on his legacy than Joe Louis’ wrestling.
